Q: Does ALL of this (including the amp) come in ONE box? I'm asking because I am planning on checking it at the airport for an international flight.

For me, it did. Amp + base. However, the box was not regularly-shaped. Keep that in mind.

Q: What does the bass by itself weigh?

I' am not really sure how much it weighs but it is pretty light for the size of the guitar. I do know it is a lot lighter than my church bass player's 5 string electric bass guitar.
