Helps to get a better sleep
I had one but wanted another for traveling as that was when I’d have trouble sleeping-adjusting the hose when I moved & this takes care of that. It’s a nice wide base but it all folds easily & fits in its own bag about the size of a mini umbrella!

I love this thing!
Bought a new bed but we don't have a headboard for it yet. The old one did and I would drape my CPAP hose over it from the back and it worked great. This works every bit as good. It breaks down like tent poles with the elastic inside. It's not an eyesore (like my wife feared it would be). It's base slips between the mattress and frame (sleep number bed). I set down onto the floor, upright between the bed and nightstand in the morning and it just disappears. It's not made heavy duty but it really doesn't need to be. It breaks down small and will easily travel with me.

lightweight, but question how long it will last
I was concerned about the previous reviews stating the durability, but I really needed a stand without spending almost a hundred dollars. I also wasn't sure that it would fit my situation so I didn't want to spend a lot of money if it wouldn't work for me. I was shopping for something with a unique situation. Due to my health, not only do I need a cpap but I also am unable to sleep comfortably in my bed. I sleep nightly in my recliner. I couldn't find a stand that would work for me. I have used velcro to attach the stand to the legs of a table next to my chair. I'm not sure how that will impact the issue others have had with it breaking. As far as holding the tubing, it appears to be doing a pretty good job. Because the base isn't stable it would limit my mobility (as in tossing and turning in a bed) so luckily I can't toss and turn in the recliner

Works well to keep hose from tangling.

Extremely flimsy
It's always best to read the reviews first before purchasing. This item I didn't till it was to late to cancel. Because the 1 star reviews says allot. When it arrives I can understand the poor reviews FLIMSY. I had my husband welded it together and he added a thin metal rod so it can't bendHe zip tied the hose hold so it has extra protection from coming loose the amount of time he spent to strengthen this holder is the reason I gave it a 3 star and it's no longer Collapsible. So far it's been holding up because it was altered.

Simple but effective
When I opened the box, my first thought was, I’m probably going to send this back. It’s a skinny aluminum tube with a little cord, the kind you would find on a keychain. I decided I would give it a try and to my surprise, this thing works great! I’m a big guy and I have shoulder issues so I toss and turn a lot in my sleep. I used to rip my mask off regularly. One time I pulled my CPAP off the headboard on my head. I’ve been using this for two months now and I’ve had zero issues. Some of the other reviews mention that it doesn’t seem very sturdy, and that might be valid. But it’s relatively cheap (I paid $15) and if I have to buy a new one every year I’m OK with that. This is the best CPAP accessory I own

Great buy. Its nice to have the hose off you while sleeping
It collapses and folds up, comes with a bag . So far I've taken it on two trips. Both times on airplanes once to Texas and once to Florida for the hotel room and the other was an AirB&B

Quality Issues
Have loved these CPAP holders for years. Worked great. Ordered Two more and quality has gone down hill. Part that holds the hose isn’t as good. The elastic that holds the hose up and retracts it has almost no elasticity. Sometimes won’t even hold up the hose.Elastic used to be really strong. Hose holder was high quality. Metal is thinner. Weld is just barely tacked and breaks easily. Somebody cut cost with cheaper parts. Big loss of quality. The small savings in cheaper materials will cost them more in the future.
