Really impressed
To HP: Well done, HP! Really impressed at that price < £ 200.00, and indeed, all a Chromebook requires, plus if Linux is your thing as well, partitioning this for Ubuntu etc. in developer mode is a doddle. - To the user: I’m using this for writing, some research browsing incl. YouTube’ing and playing around with a variety of OSs, and for that it is more than sufficient (target: student, writer, journalist, etc.). Do your research! Look at processors/CPUs etc. and compare (e.g. versus.com). Know what you want from a machine. This is not for high-end graphics (photo/video work) or gaming. - It’s basic, solid, small, very portable and charges via USB-c yay. I’m a user of macOS M1s and beyond, and I love this machine.

A functional Android laptop
This is a functional Android laptop running Chrome. It is easy to set up and use and has good battery life. I can run two reasonable sessions (3 hours +) on a single charge. Recharging, using the supplied mains charger, is quick. If you are looking for a no frills functional laptop for everyday Internet access I would recommend this laptop.

I love the design of my new chromebook! It's easy to carry with me, operates really fast and is perfect for the work I do! Highly recommended

It great laptop I haven’t even charge up it so that 5 stars for Battery and 5 stars all round for this little laptopI woukd recommend this laptop for traveling school work and college work

I did not want chromebook.
I do not like the functions of the laptop. I want hp laptop not hp chrome book.

Rubbish
I got this for my son's 16th birthday he opened the box got all excited to turn it on to find out that chrome os wasn't installed on it he was really upset cos that was his main present from me now being a single mum of four kids it took me ages to save up for it for his birthday and with being a hp make I would of thought it would of been value for money not the other way round

No chrome OS installed
This laptop went straight back into the box and a refund was sought after we discovered it had no Chrome OS installed. Installing it meant sacrificing a memory stick of its data and spending 20 minutes following a YouTube video. How ridiculous! Maybe we were just unlucky but I cannot recommend this product.
