JINHAO 500 Fountain Pen F Nib (Blue Marbled)

A lovely, solid pen that's writes beautifully. I inked it up via the included converter so it was working straight away.

Diameter larger than I am used to but am gradually getting used to it. But I am used to a Parker and if I had known that this pen was thicker to grip I'd have bought a Parker.

this pen is a joy to write with . doesn't matter how fast you write it still produce a nice steady writing drawing lines . I am impressed just the right fine nib.

This is a pen which represents excellent value for money. The nib is smooth and the pen has a good weight. This just feels right.

I love the appearance of the pen. It seems to be very well put together and the marble effect is beautiful. Weight and balance are perfect for me and the pen is very comfortable to hold. However, the # 5 fine nib is awful and spoils an otherwise lovely pen. It does lay down a nice thin line but is very scratchy and seems to drag on the page rather than smoothly glide over it. I'm now in search of a medium #5 nib to see if it will improve the pen's performance.Update. I had too high an opinion of Jinhao to believe they would put out such a beautiful pen with such a poor performance so I took the pen apart and cleaned it and reinstalled the nib. It transformed the pen. It is now writing smoothly. Very pleased with the purchase now.

been looking for a nice fine nib fountain pen that doesnt look cheap or for a student - this is woderfull, i got the black marble and it is my ONLY pen i use now! adore it - i also bought a pot of ink as it comes with the refillable cartridge and it lasts for ages as well, and absolute gem of a pen, might buy another for another colour soon!

Lovely budget pen, writes well has a good weight to it.

I must have been sent a different pen to all the other reviewers. The pen itself looks great, but the actual nib, the important bit, is terrible. I was buying this to swap the nib into a Moonman, which was also supplied with a bad nib. I have some other Jinhao pens that write really well, but are too broad (like a Medium). I'm actually looking for fine nibs from Jinhao that write as well as those, but this isn't it. Very disappointing. Looks like I will have to try Ebay, after all.Update: after some work, I've managed to tweak this to the point it writes reasonably well, so I came back to add a star.
