My 9 year old son is always cold when swimming. Even if it's 100 degrees outside, he'll be cold and shivering within 5 minutes. I finally broke down and bought him this wetsuit so he can enjoy playing at the pool with his friend. HE STAYS WARM! It fits well. It seems to be high quality (although I'm careful not to dry it). He is tall and slender so in order to fit the height chart he didn't fit the minimum weight for that size. I decided to try the size based on his height and I would return it if it didn't work. The suit is slightly large around the mid section but he doesn't mind and it still keeps him warm.

Bought the XL for my daughter who just turned 11. At first she said it was a little tight in the crotch area but I think it's because she's slightly on the tall side. She's worn it all summer and doesn't complain about the tightness at all anymore, so it might have stretched a little. The zipper and velcro works well and it definitely helps her be able to tolerate the cold water at the lake.

We’ve tried several wetsuits for my tall, skinny 7-year-old, but this is the only one we haven’t instantly returned. My daughter is right in between sizes, so I bought both the L and XL to compare. I will day that she is very tall and skinny, and the problem we’ve had with other wetsuits is that they are too wide. This wetsuits fits a slender kiddo perfectly.For reference, my daughter is 49” (4’ 1”, maybe close to 49 1/2”) tall and 47 lbs.; she’s very lanky. The XL arrived first and had some room in it, but she wore it to the beach the next day and it kept her pretty comfortable. The L arrived several days later and fits perfectly, with a little room in the crotch and shoulders but not too much. It’s currently keeping her warm in our neighbor’s 72° pool, and she says it’s comfortable.We will be keeping the L for this summer and holding onto the XL as she grows since it fits so well. She has used each size one time now, so I can’t speak to the longevity of the suit. However, it feels solid and well-made. For the price, it seems like great quality and value.

The wetsuit seems to be of decent quality. I bought a size 4 for my two year old. He is 351bs and it went on easily and has a little room to grow. This is perfect for him to do swim lessons in during the colder months.

I bought it for my 4 yr old who has swimming classes in a very cold pool. I had ordered a small but it was too tight (she is a bit tall for her age) so I returned it for a medium and the fit was perfect. She is super comfortable with it in the pool and has not complained about the water being cold. Once wet it is a bit hard to take off but we just do it very slowly and with patience. Overall a great buy and met my needs!
