This is a set of router templates for making rounded corners. The templates measure 5.25” in diagonal, with the usable section 2” on each side. In the set, you get 3 pieces, covering sizes R5 to R30. The pieces are made of bakelite. They come with a set of screw-on feet which enable you to mount the pieces evenly on your corner.I find this set solidly made. They are easy to mount on a corner. But you need to clamp them down before using. The clampable area is 1.5” long, so you need narrow clamps that can get in there without getting in the way of your router. And the clamps have to maintain a solid grip, which can be tough with small clamps. If you have the right clamps, this will work. Overall, this set can be very useful for making rounded corners, as long as you have sturdy clamps that you can work with.

I ordered these to use on a small bench that i'am currently making to put by the front door to sit on when we put our shoes on. It worked great for making the radius on the four corners. I used them do decide what radius looked the best for the size of the bench, trace it on the sides to precut the radius on the bandsaw then used it to form the final shape on my router table.

These come in handy to round the corners. easy to use and feel very durable.

These are fine but they only came with one set of the stops. It’s annoying having to switch them all the time.

I was skeptical that these could be held in place manually while routing, but after routing 2 - 40 (I'm assuming 40mm radius) corners on 10 pieces of 6" x 38", 1" thick red cedar, using a 1/4" by 1 1/4" up-cut spiral bit in my router table, I'm a believer. So much easier to use than making a template and taping it to each piece. I should have bought these earlier.

I ordered these to use to put rounded edges on my cutting boards. They work fantastic for allowing the router to follow the template. They do need to be secured with a small clamp. They do require a rather narrow clamp, since there is not a ton of clamping surface with these templates. Without a smaller clamp, you may run into problems with the clamp interfering with the router. They are very simple to use. You simply butt the brass stop guides up against your work piece, and then simply follow the router around the template to make perfect rounded corners. Overall, I think they are a great product for the price.

I deceided to make round corners on a small cabinet top. I figured purchasing premade templateswould be much quicker than attempting to make my own, since I wasn't sure what radius I wanted I would have had to make several. The Hermit Tools set of 3 templates work great. I also like the fact of having 6 different radius corners for any future projects. And the price was really great.

I think these will do the job just fine. Only wish they were aluminum instead of plastic.
