Hydro FlaskDay Escape Soft Insulated Cooler

I used this bag as a piece of carry-on luggage, when I went to the DR, as a substitute for my purse. I packed my purse in my suitcase. I was able to pack a lot of stuff in the bag. It's water proof so I used it when I went snorkelling because it held all of my gear. It's also a great cooler bag. You can put ice in it or cold pack to keep stuff cold. Love it and would recommend it, even though it is a little pricey.

Works great for what I needed. Stays cool all day in the car while on travel.

Love this bag because it does what it says. Keeps food/drinks cold for hours. I use it for long days at the softball field and it does the trick. It’s much lighter then the Yeti backpack cooler which helps when I have to carry 15 things to a field no where near the parking lot. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the mouth is a bit hard to get open and small to get stuff inside and out.

This Hydro Flask cooler is awesome! It feels great over the shoulder and carries a ton of stuff. The only downside is if you overpack it, it gets really heavy and can strain your neck—so be mindful of what you load. Honestly, it works just as well as my buddy’s Yeti and looks just as good, but it’s a fraction of the cost. If you’re not obsessed with the “Yeti lifestyle,” you’ll love this cooler. If you are, maybe consider therapy—because this does the same thing for way less money. Great value and functionality!

I wanted to review this backpack cooler before and after.Before: The cooler looks awesome! Put together well and is fairly large. All in all, my first impression is wow. It closes nicely and doesn't look like it will leak! We plan to use it this weekend so I will update this review. I'm pretty excited to use it!

This backpack fits a lot and keeps drinks and snacks cool. I wish the zipper was widermaking it easier to get things in and out of the cooler.

When the cooler arrived I brought it in and opened it to acclimate to my home temp of 75 degrees. I placed a frozen Blue Apron ice pack in it (12X8X1) by itself and checked on it 24 hours later. I'd say about 1/3 of it was still frozen. I checked again around 6 hours later and the ice was gone but still very cold. I did not catch how long it stayed cold but I would guess at least a few more hours for a total of around 35 hours of cold. I'm very impressed. I don't know if Yeti is as cold or colder but for basically half the price I'm happy. The zipper, as mentioned in other reviews, is a bit stiff but I think it is worth the extra effort because it is waterproof, along with the whole bag. I put some water in it, turned it upside down for several moments while shaking it and not a drop of water came out. It's nice to know if it falls over in transport it will not leak on anything. Not knowing what the materials to make it cost I can only guess that it's a bit overpriced, but I doubt if anything else works as well so if it's in your budget go ahead and buy it!
