Great durable finish.
Great durable finish that I feel will protect my small deck and prevent mildew from building up in the winter. Great traction and can be painted over. I coated the BQ table with Kilz first and let it dry, then painted over it with white paint. This stuff is very thick so it is kind of difficult to brush on but worth the effort.

Looks amazing and protects even better!
Hard to paint, due to thickness. I used one coat. I also stirred it with a drill attachment mixer. It goes on super thick, almost like quick-crete. The results are amazing!I used it on our hot tub enclosure. Cleaned it with the pressure washer, let it dry, then took about 2-3 hours to cover it with one coat. Sun, rain, heat, cold, stood up to it all!

Thick
Exactly what I needed! I painted the concrete step/slab leading up to my front door and it was great! Filled in cracks and made it look brand new. It dries quickly too, especially surprised because it’s so thick! I just painted today, so I can’t say if it will peel or chip. I hope not because it seems great!

Great product - poor delivery
Well, I’d ordered this product before, so instead of buying one gallon, I decided to buy two! When I went outside to check the mail, the box was waiting for me, hanging off the porch like some five year old balancing a pencil on my steps. I looked around, half-expecting to see Jim Carrey doing somersaults on my lawn, and then I scrambled to check on my cat to ensure a switcheroo had not occurred. Sir Fluff and Stuff was hiding out in my bedroom under my grandmother’s rocking chair, presumably as traumatized as I about the condition of my box sitting on the porch. I opened the box, not needing scissors, a knife, or a lightsaber, since the packing tape which ‘sealed’ it looked like it’d been applied by a worker who had re-used a decaf k-cup. The product inside were snug in their thick plastic wrapping. There must be a God because not one of the cans were dented despite the box looking like it had been a stand-in for Rock Balboa in the first movie. I will likely re-use the box for a nesting egg Christmas present for a cousin, the final gift being a $50 gift card to Amazon. The Deck Armor does what it is supposed to. You open the can with a paint can opener (or, if you’re like means organization isn’t a strong suit, you use a screwdriver which is often used for things other than directed - a paint stirrer, something to pull out things which have fallen down behind the fridge, a weak weapon against a skunk which has cornered you in the side yard).I used Drylok as the primer for this, since this is being used in my basement, and because I spend so much time down there I’ll likely be dead of Radon poisoning in a few years. I use a brush, and make sure I continually go in the same direction. It’s my basement floor, not a child’s drawing, after all.Because my basement is a high-traffic area (a place to hide from the spouse, my writing room, reading room, music room, quiet place to shovel forbidden snacks down my throat) I’ve decided I’ll be going over this with a low-luster sealer. Low-luster because I don’t want people coming down here and thinking the floor is completely wet. Low-luster because when I come in from outside on rainy days or after shoveling, I don’t want to test the hardness of my basement floor by skidding on it, nor do I want to split my pants and moon whatever ghosts haunt these halls. This is a great product - goes on thick and dries in a few hours. I’ll definitely order again - but not in a box of two. I don’t need Ace Ventura showing up to my house again.

Good paint for deck of boat.
My upper deck was rotting in my 97 lund pro angler boat. Ripped out deck, and bought 3/4 inch plywood to replace. It was not marine grade. I took a chance and purchased this paint. It is thick and textured. Feels like a rough sandpaper. Have not fished yet and have not had it out in the elements but first impression is impressive. I did not put a whole lot of money into this project so if it fails, it's on me. But so far, this seems to be quality paint that will endure the weather and stress. I'll report back.

Great but buy more than you anticipate
My house has a front concrete patio that had been previously patched and painted so I scraped off the previous paint, patched the cracks, & sprayed with a hose to prep the service. I then applied 1-gallon of Killz Over Armor using a roller meant for concrete and other textured services attached to a long handle. (I taped off the edges and cut in those with a paintbrush prior to using the roller.)It’s canned like a paint, colored like a paint, and you use the same tools as you would for paint; however, this product is extremely thick and meant to fill in divots and imperfections in your surface so remove the idea from your mind that you will be “painting” your porch. The product is so thick that I skipped using a paint pan and just poured it straight from the can onto the porch in sections so I could use the longer roller to spread it across the surface, but not too thin. You want this to go on thick so it fills the imperfections. By doing this, 1-gallon does not go along way. I ended up buying a second and gallon to complete my project. Honestly, a third gallon would probably have given my surface a perfect finish but I wasn’t trying to take it that far. It’s reasonably priced for the improvement it provides. I do wish I came in more colors as I don’t love the slate gray with my house’s color scheme so I do plan to go over it with a colored porch and patio paint. I found it fairly easy to apply. I let the first coat set for 3-days before I applied the second coat since I had to order it again and wait for the Amazon shipping. This is much longer than necessary. I think the product says you can apply the second coat within 4 to 6 hours. I plan to give it about 24 hours before I put my porch furniture back in place. Obviously, you’ll want to make sure you put the time and effort into prepping the surface for a proper application so the product last as long as possible, and make sure you choose the right weather for proper curing. Good luck!
