The ax came with the ax handle loose and I do not know how to fix it. Why should I have to fix it? Why didn't it come tight?

I have owned 3 of these. The previous two (different brand Chopper1) lasted about 7 years (good life for an axe in Seattle)This lasted 1.5 hours on two days.The spring broke.I tried contacting the company several times and got no response.This tool is fantastic. I just wish that it didn't break.

This ax has 2 metal pieces on the head that spring out to make splitting easier. These pieces held on by a spring. The pieces that hold these pieces keeps rising and if I don’t hammer it back in place, they will pop out.2nd write-up. This is an imitation of the real U.S. Chopper1 Axe. It is not made by the same company and really is a piece of garbage if you intend to split large pieces of wood. Unfortunately, if you search for a Chopper1 Axe, this comes up and from all appearances, it looks like the real thing. It is not...lasted less than 6 months...the head fell off and the handle cracked. This should not allowed to be sold this way. It should be clear that it is NOT the real thing and cannot standup to the stress that is necessary for splitting wood. My old Chopper1 axe lasted for years.

Purchased the axe. Used it one time. One of the little metal pegs that hold the spring loaded separators broke and fell out first swing. It did split the log though. So.. yay..

So I ordered this item last month because I was told about it from my brother who came across 1 that he thought was the best thing since white bread.So with season upon us & having to take care of my yard chopping wood is 1 of the many things I get my hands dirty with while working in my yard.So I thought why not open the new axe & see of we might b able to get sum good use out of it. Well let's just say this was a complete waste of money & I see as well as understand why so many have nothing good to say about this product being bought from this company.Not sure if I'll get a refund but I know I'll never buy from This seller in the future..........

This axe broke within a day of using it and when I got it the blade was chipped

The head of the axe comes off easily after a few swings and can't even split the medium size logs in my opinion worst thing I've ever spent my money on
