A bit disappointed with the ending
I absolutely love these games! These are my absolutely favourite type of games. I have all the dark pictures collection and waited for this being released since hearing about it. The scenery is beautiful, the story line is great, the gameplay was fantastic and the dialog feels genuine/natural. This is an excellent game and having finished it after around 9 hours, we managed to achieve a good ending. I was a bit disappointed by how it ended though. I felt the ending was quite abrupt. Maybe it’s just due to the choices we made, but I would have liked to have seen the characters meet up, a curse by the gypsy to bring a further story/pathway within the story or just something more than the way it finished. I would also liked to have had the option to have been able to save the characters that you can’t actually save. I still love the game and would highly recommend it. I’ll play it again in a few months I’m sure. This still hasn’t beaten my favourite “Detroit become human” game, but it’s a close second. I now can’t wait for the next Supermassive/Dark Pictures “The Devil in me”

Great until the ending
Spoiler free review:If you enjoyed Until Dawn, this is another well written story with an even bigger cast of A listers playing the characters. It’s been a while since I played Until Dawn but it felt like the QTEs were a bit more predictable and easy to execute on this game to the point where I was wondering when the difficulty would ramp up. It doesn’t. The main draw to this game is the mystery that you try to unfold while you presumably try to keep everyone alive. This proves fairly difficult to do with me losing 3 in my first play through. Sadly, I was left with a bit of a sour taste as all of the character development and relationships that are built and explored in the game are thrown out the window with an abrupt ending that simply says whether each character lived or died. There is no real pay off and no exploration of the fallout of the events for the survivors which is disappointing given how good a job they do of making you feel invested in the characters. It’s well worth playing but not with the full price tag. I got it for £24.99 to play on Halloween week and wasn’t disappointed but it lacks replay value due to the poor ending which I presume doesn’t really change that much other than just telling you who lived and died.

A strong interactive movie-game with plenty of replay value
So this game is one of supermassive games usual narrative-driven interactive movie type of games that brings a new fresh story to their already ever growing library of games. I played through the game twice and was challenged at every stage on what the right decision to make would be. The game starts of slow to give you enough pace to explore the characters and their relationships to one another and then the real action starts from chapter 3. This game doesn't hold back any punches and keeps you on the edge as the story get's more and more complicated. This is definitively a must buy in my opinion if you love thrillers! This is definitively a 9/10 experience - maybe even higher.

Decent on the first playthrough but lacking replayability
Now I played this game with hopes of it being really enjoyable but it fell flat after the first playthrough. I know there are multiple endings but after the second playthrough I had no interest in repeating the exact same story but with minor tweaks. Most decisions are minor and only a handful of major ones make the story not worth your time.Ultimately aim for the best ending and the worst ending and you'll get everything you need out this game.

Atmospheric, Immersive Horror Game
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I say game but it's more of an interactive "choose your own adventure" movie with some very basic RPG elements thrown in. Having had no experience of these type of games before I have nothing to compare it to but I would definitely recommend it to horror fans, it's atmospheric and the graphics and plot are spot on.Couple of minor criticisms: the replay value isn't as good as I would've hoped, first play through took 11 hours but having read up on it the storyline (paths) don't seem to change enough based on your decisions to make me want to commit to another playthrough. Also on first playthrough 4 of my characters were killed and for at least 2 of them their fate seemed to rest on a 50/50 toss of a coin decision - annoying! Still worth 5/5 stars though for me - I hope they do a sequel.

Great Game.
On chapter 5 now and I must say I love it. The story, the graphics but that's to be expected from supermassive games. The graphics in all Thier games are amazing. My mum walked in whilst I was playing it and asked what movie I was watching and I told her it was a game and she was stunned. I would recommend to anyone who appreciates the graphics in games also anyone who likes horror movies. Funny thing is if I was to tell you that the girls gets there kit off sales would sky rocket. I will leave you guessing on that.

Brilliant story mode game
Great story, choices change the ending. Image is good, good for wandering around and completing objectives. Up there as one of my favourite story mode games
