Excellent
Very good as I would expect from this author.

Romantic and original
Like the other 4 books in the Deverill Chronicles it is a beautifully written story. Romantic, but not overly so, with a bit of esotery making the story more complex and offering food for thought. And the beautiful Irish countryside as the backdrop. A really enjoyable read.

Very enjoyable
I really enjoyed this book on audible. The narrator was excellent. The story was unexpected and although o now realise this is the last in a series of books, it really made no difference. You can enjoy it as a standalone

The distant shores
Having read all off the trilogy the beautiful and expressive way the Irish landscapes are portrayed and the way the people are built into there areas and are portrayed will ensure I read more of her books even if occasionally I am reduced to tears .

Disappointed
I used to read this author's books, but hadn't for some time. I'm sure it's very good, but realised it's no longer my taste.

Enjoyable
Last in series, perhaps not as good as others but certainly worth reading

Last book in series, but could ve read independently
The last in the Deverill series. Doesn't disappoint. Drama, intrigue, love, conspiracy. Well written as are all Montefiore's offerings. What a story teller!
