I bought this because I didn't like the idea of drinking from the Vinyl tube that is provided with nearly all hydration packs and bladders. I am using it with the Gregory 3D Hydro 3L Reservoir. I just removed the Vinyl hose, and replaced it with the Silicone tubing. It was as easy as removing the vinyl tube from the reservoir and mouth peice, and pushing them into the Silicone tubing. The segment I received was slightly longer 6-8" than what came in the Gregory kit, which is an advantage for most. If an always be easily shortened with a pocket knife or scissors.I had also considered latex tubing (like a slingshot tube, medical tube), but decided there was a chance the latex would influence the taste, and it could be a problem for others around me with a possible latex allergy.This is a very stretchy tube, with a fairly thick sidewall. I don't foresee this tube kinking up under normal use. And i think it would work with almost any hydration bladder / mouth piece combo out there.

I got this for my boy friend who is an HVAC guy so he could use it to bleed oil. He needed something flexible and he was thrilled at how flexible this was. His hose was old and hard to deal with. After using it for over a week he said it isn't the best, but it will do. He also uses it for something else that he said it works fine. He thought it was a little expensive.

Critters chewed my pool heater vent tubing, Hayward wanted $ 40 for replacement tubing ( insane!) this did the job.

My Dad has a thing. He always puts tubing on his glasses ear pieces to keep his glasses from sliding forward. (As a research scientist, I don’t think he’s afraid of looking geeky.) The last tubing he put on was rubber and changed to rock hard. This soft and flexible silicone tubing fit over his earpieces easily, stayed in place, and made his glasses stay in place. Exactly what we needed. Very pleased with this soft silicone tubing.

Product was not suitable for what I needed it for.it was to big.

I used this to hook it up to my bong. Great, it doesn't affect flavor.Easy to clean, I just put some rubbing alcohol through it, then flushed it with water and it cleared up like new.
