If you are looking for a bluetooth dongle to connect your headphones then move along to the next product.If you are looking for a bluetooth dongle to connect your custom application to another bluetooth application then this is your toy. The documentation is sketchy and I'm still having trouble getting it all working but it so far has worked the best of the dev kits I've seen.

If you're not a firmware or software engineer, this is not a product for you. This dongle allows you to build custom Bluetooth LE applications using Texas Instruments 'SimpleLink' SDK. If that's what you're looking for, this is a great product. As far as I know, this is currently the only off-the-shelf dongle you can buy that supports Bluetooth LE 5.0 features (forward error correction, 2Mbit/s data rate, extended advertisting, etc). Highly recommend for custom embedded application development.

I did not pay enough attention to the description. This device is intended as a tool for product developers to test firmware under development. This does not work like a typical Bluetooth dongle. Some decades ago when I was a young electronics engineer, I would have played with this, but not now.

I plug it in and nothing happens. I contacted makerspot and was told I needed something else and could find it on product details. Could not find any product details. I contacted them again with no response

unit works as described so i have to give it a 5 star, however read carefully, this did not work for what i wanted to use it for.
