Pyle Portable Electric Guitar Amp, 10W Wall Powered Mini Amplifier with 5" High Definition Speaker, Distortion, Headphone Out

I have a little electric-acoustic Ukulele that I got last year, and previously I only listened to it through a USB interface into headphones. I found this little amp and it's such a great value for a little speaker amp! It's got a lot of power, great controls, and funny enough it has distortion, which sounds very goofy on the uke. The amp feels very sturdy, and while I wish it had a handle, its still very easy to carry.I definitely recommend this if you're a budding ukulele player!

For those who want a small amp that is easily put into a backpack, this amp is really good. It's about five pounds and doesn't compromise on the sound. I like the fact that it has the warm tone of the amps made decades ago when I was a kid. The amp is solidly built, with sturdy controls that are clearly marked. The adjustable distortion control is excellent. A huge bonus is that the headphone jack has it's own set of volume controls. Pyle is indeed a throwback to the age when amps were built to last.

Very well built and compact. The sound is amazing for a physically small amp. Works great in my practice room and takes up a small area but sounds like much bigger am.

Just received and used once. Seems like a great little amp when you need pirtability and a slight bit of amplification. Worked well and is easy to use.

This review is for the Wall Power version of the amp.Everyone laughed when they saw my new, tiny amp in the basement studio, but it held its own next to the drum kit, pushing the sweet sounds of my Jazzmaster.•Sound quality is great for the size, unless you crank it to 11.•Case seems to be high quality, but I'm not sure it's actually wrapped in leather. This is a plus for me, as there's just no reason to use leather for this application.•It's incredibly portable and fits in a backpack. (see image for scale).•The only negative is the plug power adapter (wall wart) covers the outlet next to it if you're using a power strip. This isn't an issue if you plug into the wall or the end of the power strip.

I just received this Pyle mini-guitar amp that I plan to use with my Lap Steel. I fired it up an noted the very clear and crisp sound. When I turned on the distortion, it was clear that the sound could be made very dirty. At lower settings of gain, the distortion can be reduced to subtle levels. All in all a very nice practice amp for a very low price.

What a wonderful purchase. It was easy and convenient to set up and it sounds beautiful.
