A learning curve but worth it.
At first I was a bit overwhelmed but once you dig in and understand routerOS you see how powerful it is. I love being able to build up exactly what I want in function of the device. Our application was for a mesh network of 2 devices providing seamless transition in an industrial handheld control HMI network. Coverage was good enough with one unit that we now have the second for future expansion.YouTube is your friend in learning what's possible with these. They do come with presets but remember to reset, remove config, then choose your desired config. Otherwise I've found some config artifacts remain from prior setup.Hope this helps someone. RouterOS is a different beast but powerful.

DOA out of the box
I opened it, followed all instructions for setup and power. When I applied power the unit made an internal noise, then proceeds to be in a boot loop. Mikrotik support is laughable, in that they do not support their products. I also got a Mantis from them and setup for that worked, so not sure what is wrong with the Groove...beware

kind of hard to figure out programming but it works fine
It took me a few days of internet searching but I finally figured out how to make it connect to wifi as a signal booster for our boat but once done, it works fine for way less money than a marine/RV branded booster.

Easy Setup
I am using this on our boat to connect with marina Wi-Fi systems. Setting the system up was easy after watching one how-to video. Strong signal and seamless operations.
