I don't know if it helps to lather soap. I baught mine to make incense and it works perfectly. It is powdered wonderfully tho and should blend with your soap base perfectly.

Andrea, we do, however, use this rosin in a natural hand salve. It does have many of the same qualities as raw pine sap, as it is derived from raw pine sap.
