Leí este libro muy rápido. Es interesante leer la relación que tuvieron Mayte García y Prince. Sabía que era un gran músico y compositor, pero a un nivel de pareja Prince era bastante insorportable y controlador, algo que ya sospechaba. Aún así, se ve claramente que este libro no es una venganza, todo lo contrario. Me parece que Mayte le amaba a pesar de lo que pasó entre ellos por la culpa de él (en mi opinión). Me quedo con la música.

I had to hear Mayte tell story. She wrote it. She lived it. A truly admirable first-person account of the love affair of the century, and how so tragically fell apart. Mayte appears to be a lovely gal, very hard working, and has managed to put herself back together with pride and honour. There are funny times she had with Prince, and some very, very heartbreaking times. Mayte is very open about how those times affected her then, and now. I happen to really enjoy audio books, and this one is no exception. The author is an easy listen, and the content is heart-wrenching.Bring tissues. Purple army people have been waiting for this material for months. For anyone else curious about his life, and how she fit into it, sit back and listen to some amazing rock n'roll history.
