Makes You Feel Like a Blade Runner
I bought this inexpensive revolver because it looked great. It reminded me, as others have said, of the futuristic pistol used by the blade-runner police in the movie of the same name. Cool. Also, I bought it because it uses the same magazine as my Colt 357 Magnum Python revolver, which shoots both Pellets and BBs. The pellet magazines are metal, while the BB magazines are plastic. Having three extra metal pellet magazines and a low price for the Brodax, the choice was easy. The BB version was spec’d at 375 fps, so I knew shooting pellets would be slower because of the additional weight of pellets vs BBs. Additionally, the Brodax also has a reputation of being a very accurate shooter. The construction of the Brodax would be expected to be very lite, since it is all plastic. However, although it is, indeed, very lite at 1.5 pounds, it feels a lot heavier due to its solid construction and bulkiness. It has a great feel to it. It has a very lite trigger pull at about 4+ pounds in double action and about 1.5+ pounds in single action. This is one of the easiest shooting pistols that I own. I could find almost nothing to complain about except the ability to get the right grip off to put in a cylinder of CO2. It is a finger-nail breaker to pop the grip off.The first thing I did, even before test firing the Brodax was to install a CVlife Red/Green Dot aiming aid. I am a CVlife fan and has several of their 50mm scopes so I could not pass up the Red/Green Dot device to help with aiming. I was not disappointed. The CVlife set up quickly and I was hitting in the ‘zone’ pretty quickly. Getting a good group in my test 2 inch circle targets was ridiculously easy at 10 feet so I immediately moved back to 10 yards, where I had the same result. The only pistol I have in my collection that will hit 10 shots in a 2” circle on my home range virtually every time is my Ataman AP16. Here are the specs on my shooting tests:Using Crossman Premier 7.4 grain Wadcutters: High Velocity=335 fps, Lowest V=300 fps, Average V=312.9 fps, SD=8.8 and fpe=1.84.Using H&N Target Trophy Green 5.71 grain Non-lead Pellets: High V=375 fps, Low V=315 fps, Average V=342.25 fps, SD=16.06 fps and fpe=1.78.I do not know if BBs would go any higher but reading reviews I’ve seen claims that BBs will reach almost 400 fps. However, BBs can be notoriously inaccurate. Patterns I’ve seen have been all over the map. Patterns from those using pellets are almost always much tighter. If I ever have a choice I will always go for a pellet-shooter over a BB shooter. Pellets are much easier on any barrel, whether it’s smooth or rifled. If you buy a Brodax I highly recommend that you buy a set of magazines for the Colt 357 magnum and shoot pellets. You won’t give up much velocity but I believe you will have much tighter patterns and a lot more fun. Don’t let the price fool you. This is a serious plinker. I doubt anyone will show up at a shooting tournament with a Bordax, but you will have a lot of fun with this pistol and you will be getting between about 100 shots on a cylinder of CO2. … and you will feel like Harrison Ford (aka Decker) going after rough androids.

Good quality BB gun
Over all a great BB gun. Feels right, pretty accurate. My only complaint would be towards the packaging. Nothing of the gun it’s self. When I opened the box the plastic covering was torn and in pieces. Making me think the gun was broken but it shoots fine.

At this price it is a steal
First Shotting was nice. Kind of loud but still nice. Has a solid feel to it and is well made. Simple to load up and simple to fire. It feels well balanced in my hand.UMAREX thought this little hand pistol out really well. Simple effective and nice looking. My only hope now is that it last more than a year. Most of these BB gun pistols don't last me that long before seals and such start going bad inside. Time will tell. I figure at this price I can't go wrong. I can so far recommend this.

FUN BIG/LITTLE SHOOTER!!
I'll start with the "didn't likes"... because there is only one dislike. It's ability to site accurately is not precise, nor is it consistent. BUT, in its defense, it is powered by CO2, and it is only a BB gun. With my target at 20 yards, the shots are consistently "off" about 1"... in any direction. It's inconsistent. I'm ok with that. It's not my "protection firearm", therefore its accuracy isn't 'life or death' for me.As for the likes, I like everything about it. There are SOOO many likes. This Big Ol' Revolver is the funnest "toy gun" I've every shot. ("toy gun" meaning BB guns and pellet guns). But, NO guns should be treated as toys... EVER.Anyway, It's fun for plinking and keeping my yard free of wire chewing varmints... and it looks SO cool doing it!!I've shot maybe 50 BBs so far, and this gun hasn't missed a single BB. Usually, with BB guns, there is the occasional "blank POOF"... but not with this one! Every shot puts a BB out there. (However, when loading the magazines, you need to be certain not to 'stuff' the BBs too tightly into the magazine holes. Just lightly enough so the magazine slided back into the revolver area).I prefer revolvers over "in handle magazine" loaders. This one is PERFECT for me. If you like revolvers too, this choice is a no brainer. I love this little gun, and the price is SO worth it.
