Island Breeze Gauze Baby Blue, Fabric by the Yard

I am making wrap pants and top, this fabric is perfect. Being crinkle gauze, it changes shape a bit as you work with it, as it is supposed to. If you allow for this it is no problem. I laundered before cutting, no bleeding, color true and even throughout. The fabric drapes nicely and has a good weight. I will be buying more of this fabric in more colors. Very nice, fast delivery, quality product.

Washed in cold water, tumbled dry low, removed while still damp. After wash 43 inches wide. Barely 2 yards, original length 6 to 8 inches more than 2 yards. Otherwise pretty shade of blue, soft. However, I do need to rethink how to make it work for my project. Descriptions does say it shrinks, however I thought the amount of shrinkage was excessive. A estimated % shrinkage would have been helpful.

This fabric worked out perfectly for the top I made. It was slightly sheer, but I could wear it with only a bra underneath.It draped beautifully, and washed and dried well. The price was also good. I recommend.

This cannot be used for pajamas, Beach pant, or anything else! You would have to double it to sew everything This is too thin and it clings to itself! Stinks so bad, chemical smell!

I bought this material to make some swaddle blankets. The color was the perfect baby blue, but the fabric is just not soft enough against a baby's skin. In fact its kind of too scratchy for my skin even after a couple of washes.

Bought to make swaddling cloth, hoping it would have more stretch on the bias. Will work, but could have been better.
