These are exactly what I needed. The 3' length is ideal for my small studio and keeps everything nice and tidy. They work perfectly.

It's a MIDI cable. It works as it should. It's quite flexible and just slightly on the thinner side of things when it comes to the cable itself. The connector is compact but it isn't always as easy to feel which way you need to turn the cable to make a connection unlike some more expensive cables that have molded grips on their connector ends that sort of guide you toward figuring out which side is top or bottom.This is just fine for my home studio. I wouldn't expect it to hold up on the road or if using it heavily. I don't use MIDI cables often and I make sure to wrap them properly and protect them from being pulled, stepped on, and generally abused.If you need to connect two pieces of gear over MIDI this cable is as good as any. If you're going to travel or subject it to any heavy wear you might want to invest in something a little more substantial. Still a 4/5 because it does its job and a more expensive cable wouldn't have added any benefits other than durability.

I have had NO issue using these budget cables they are used in equipment that doesn't get moved around if your gigging and unplugging your equipment a lot invest in heavy duty cables these are fine for home use.
