Contractor loved it
I heard about Liberty from a plumbing supply house, so just ordered this for my contractor to install during a basement renovation. Its well made, and was easy for him to install and hookup. He really liked it, much easier than the other (probably cheaper) units others give him. Note this model is tall and narrow waisted, which made it harder to excavate the hole. There is another model that is shallower and wider, but I could not use it due to a nearby footing.

Great Unit, Lot's of Sweat
Sturdy, self contained sewage package with plenty of power. If you're not into sweat, dirt or smell this is not a job for you. Replacing a sewage sump well is all of that and more! If you want to give it a try here's a couple of things to help you out.1. Even though the Pro370 is listed as a 21x30 it is actually about 23" at the fat part of the tub. The inlet hole is another 4" but that can be trimmed a little if needed.2. If you install a Liberty Alarm (ALM 2-1) for high water alert be sure to install the float on the opposite side of the pump float. The alarm float can hinder the floatation of the pump float if on the same side. This part of the install is pretty easy so don't let it stop you from ordering an alarm also.3. Be sure your pea rock base is as level as possible before you drop the tub in. Sounds easy but you are working at full arms reach, on your belly with not much light. I ended up pulling the tub back out 3 times for leveling problems.4. Do a CLEAN water function check to see what's happening inside the tub. Turn a faucet on and observe the workings through the float tree port (where the wires come out) before you start pumping grey or black water into the tub. It's just less smelly.5. And as another reviewer wrote, check the bottom of the tub for holes especially where the pump legs are.I spent over 7 hours just getting the old sump out and the new one in place. Another 3 hours on plumbing and about an hour placing cement. This project will kick your ass but I think the Pro370 was well worth the effort.

Wrong place to cut a corner...
Go cheap some other place in your project other than your sump. This thing is plug n play and pretty much forget about it for 10-15 years. Have several from same maker and am very impressed. One of my units is 7 years old and still going strong day in and day out.

TEST THESE BEFORE INSTALLING SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACE !!!!
Nice set up and case however the pump did not work right out of the box. Plumbed in completely then fill up tank with water to test and nothing. Plugged pump in directly thinking it maybe the float and still nothing. Called amazon and they where able to send one out however there was a delay in shipping ( had to wait 5 days) so now I'm having to dump sewage on the lawn with another pump until this one comes in . So do yourself a favor and test these pumps out first before doing anything else.

Dump this sump pump
I ordered this and it arrived intact. Unfortunately it stopped pumping after three weeks of being installed. The discharge port came loose, causing the pump to run constantly, which burned out the motor. Relatively poor design in an effort to provide a preassembled plug and play unit. I then ordered a second on as a replacement, and it arrived broken off of the FedEx truck. The heavy pump inside the weak plastic housing simply does not hold up to the abuse of being tossed around in shipping. After going through this, I would recommend buying a separate sump and pump unit and assembling it yourself.

Never again - No more water in our basement! ...
Never again - No more water in our basement! We live on the shore (literally) of Lake Michigan and our basement floor is 5 feet below the lake's waterline. This sump handles the lake, rain runoff, and a full bathroom with shower stall in the basement along with a washer/dryer and utility sink. We installed it on a 6 hour battery backup and could not rest more assured during a storm that the basement floor will be dry in the morning.
