Worth it and then some.
Bought this in February. After having issues in a pontiac g6 since Sept 2019..the bulb would blow, then the socket would melt leading to more bulbs, then replacing socket didn't help with weak bulbs and eventually melted again. Would adjust or bump the headlight to get it back on again for the rest of the week before replacement time again.Spent over 200 total in replacements and repairs. This went on from Sept '19 till I bought these in February. No issues till today 7 months later. But happy to find its just a blown bulb and the socket is still fine.If only I would have known sooner. If your sockets ever melt, don't bother with regular replacements, get these ceramic bad boys. Still goin strong.

Holds up
Good so far - the ceramic is holding up. Used a cheap all plastic one before and it melted.

Great Replacement for Faulty Pigtails
As stated, replaced the faulty one Kia pigtails with these and have had great performance so far. Buyer beware the plastic is very fragile on these and is prone to breaking.

Used in a aftermarket headlamp assembly for a '11' Volvo S40
Went to splice in the new connector. Found the wire colors to be different between the new & old connectors. Used the fitting slot on the old connector, orientated the new connector to the old, to get the same wire orientation. Then cut, stripped, & spliced in one wire at a time. After connecting and putting in the reflector. The bulb needs a small turn downwards to seat. There I found the lower one side of the connector unlock tab runs into part of the lamp housing assembly. Will use a dremel to cut off that section on the unlock tab. Had no ceramic breakage problems after several attaching and unhooking of connector and bulb.

This will disintegrate when plugging in bulb
These connectors SEEM great. They are brittle and VERY fragile. I tried to use them to replace a melted Pontiac G6 low beam connector. Cutting and connecting the wires is easy. Almost anybody can do that so nothing to review there. When I went to plug in a new bulb, I was very cautious as I read the previous reviews. I looked and the pins lined up well. I did not even get the bulb 1/8 of the way inserted and I heard cracking. I pulled the bulb out and the inside middle of the ceramic broke and fell away. It was mostly intact. I again checked the pins and plastic divider in the bulb and it had no obstructions. I started inserting the bulb again as it was just a small piece the broke and fell away and again I heard cracking. Again I pulled the bulb out and more of the ceramic fell away. The last time I was able to push it in all the way and the terminal on the wire did not push out the rear of the connector. The light is functional, but I know the next time I need to replace a bulb, I will have to replace the harness too. Plain and simple, these are junk and good for only one use. I would NOT buy again.

Headlight burnt out and bulb good - this is what you need
My headlight was burnt out. Replaced the headlight bulb and it worked for a couple of days and then was off again - ugh. Took it back apart thinking that I would have to find the receipt and return the headlight bulb, but the bulb still looked good. Sure enough, the connector was melted some and did not allow a strong connection. Bought these and spliced them in, and it works great. Now I am thinking that the original headlight issue might have been the melted connector and NOT the bulb. Now I am good to go for a long while.

Works perfect for 2005 Volvo XC70
This works perfectly for my 2005 Volvo XC70. My XC70 had 3 wires going into the socket, two wires into one side and one in the other. I was a little concerned that this only had two wires, but I took the wire on this and the two wires on my cut wires from the old socket and put them all in a wire nut, and then took the single wire from the other side and connected it to the single wire from the old socket....worked perfectly!
