There is a small chip after a couple weeks of use but still works great

Lenox offers many types of bowls in the Butterfly Meadow pattern, but these ice cream bowls hit the sweet spot. They're more in line with what most people would consider a soup or cereal bowl. I love these dishes. I mean really, REALLY love them. I do have a complaint about how these were packed for shipping. They were bubble-wrapped and tossed haphazardly into a giant box with another small item that these could have easily crushed. Luckily everything arrived unbroken, but this packaging was ridiculous. There was no registration card or receipt of any kind in the box. These are "open stock" bowls, but I previously ordered four of these directly from Lenox and they were packed like a multi-piece set would be, so you might do better to get them from somewhere other than Amazon.

I will admit that I have the set of dishes to match. But my husband is an espresso drinker and he loves it. He uses it a lot. This is a sturdy little cup and as with my other dishes in the set- I see it lasting a long, long time. My other dishes in the set have lasted 17 years and through 2 kiddos (boys).
