Spigen Ultra Hybrid [Anti-Yellowing Technology] Designed for Google Pixel 6 Pro Case (2021) - Crystal Clear

Although for one of my Google Pixel phones, the SPIGEN cell phone cases are consistently a great purchase for any brand of device. Well made - the fit is always perfect - they are slightly thicker than many of the OEM cases and that means more protection. The surface provides good grip and is comfortable in one's hand. A great value.

It is also clear, so the phone's color shines through. It also fits my used (supposed to be new) P6 pro phone like a glove.

This case does its job well, although it definitely does yellow over time. Unfortunately, my case is only 2 years old and the soft plastic sides are separating from the hard plastic back, although it could be that my Popsocket has been pulling the pieces apart over time.

I bought this case in June 2022 when I got my Pixel 6 Pro. The case has been good, but contrary to the vendor description, the case plastic has yellowed a little as the first picture shows (old one on the right). The bigger problem is that the case is splitting along one edge (see 2nd photo). It was not obvious until I took the case off to put a new screen protector on. I like the case overall, so I just ordered a new one. It's been a good case - 2+ years in my pants pocket every day - which is why I rated it 5 stars.

This case is by far the best case i have ever had. I dropped my phone so many times and all it does is bounce with this case on it! This old phone looks new. 10/10!

Update: Starts yellowing in around 7 months. Having a Sorta Sunny color variant may cover it up a little.Minimum added protection. May not survive getting run over by a car or being dropped from a skyscraper but is scratch resistant if you put your phone and keys in the same pocket. If you’re not clumsy and/or do not do extreme sports/activities then you should be okay since the phone itself has Gorilla Glass Victus front and back.Transparent clear case. Able to still see phone’s true colors. Clear cases tend to have yellowing after several months/years. No issues yet, but if I do see it present, I’ll update this reviewCutouts. All on point. I just use this as a spare cash (tend to use mobile payment methods mostly)/driver license holder, and popsocket attachment (I use reverse wireless charging for my Pixel Buds, and wireless charging for phone sometimes).Overall good case for extra added layer of protection with a little added functionality depending on how you use it.

This case isn't fancy at all. Just a clear case, easy to get the phone in and out of, protects the edges and provides grip. The screen is not protected very well though, so I would recommend adding a screen protector. I have a very small nick in the screen already, which annoys the heck out of me, so I will be applying a screen protector very soon.The Pixel 6 pro is a beautiful phone aesthetically and a power-house in functionality, but it is SO slippery to hold! And the re-imagined camera bar across the back is difficult to properly protect. This case does add grip, which is great, but not a lot of texture, more of a "jelly" sort of feel. I love that I can pop it off my phone and hand wash it in the sink with dish soap or hand soap to get rid of any finger prints, dirt, and germs - we are all watching out for those these days - and it helps not only protect my phone, but keep everything clean as well.The case's edge comes up over the camera bar a bit all around, which gives it great protection. On the front, it has a slightly higher lip at the top and bottom, and barely comes up above the screen height on the right and left sides. It's not going to provide 100% protection, but at least I feel comfortable setting my phone down on a table, and holding it without dropping it.

TL;DR - Yes buy this case, it's protective, feels good, but it DOES yellow over time with UV exposureI always default to Spigen cases whenever I get a new phone. Durability wise and protection wise, they are just amazing. This time however, I was debating on getting the clear case because I didn't want to deal with the yellowing but alas the marketing tactic lured me in.Yes, this case yellows as you can see from the pictures. Definitely not as bad as previous or other brand cases, but it does. Yellowing is sped up if you keep your phone/case in the sun too often or expose it to UV rays often (while in the car, charging, outside on the table, etc).That aside, this case is protective and durable. Yes the long side lip doesn't come up high and you can rest a long object sideways on the phone and it will touch the screen. Top to bottom, there's enough lip. But I've dropped my phone in the case quite a few times and I've never had any sort of issues yet.
