To Turn on your camera and press the least amount of buttons as possible to still succeed in awesome footage is the goal. I did not want to turn on, make my way to a menu somewhere, hopefully find a WiFi, oh wait… also connect to WiFi….. a few more buttons then finally RECORD! I had missed out on those firsts steps, and the party was over by the time I got it together! !It was such a relief to have a device that I actually had control of ! The absolutely ADORABLE presentation will have you even more excited, coming in a very slick red box that opens up to a very organized arrangement which includes your camera and user manual. It gets even better with the app! Again, VERY USER FRIENDLY! You’re able to do so much in the application! Whatever social media you want to post on, you can do directly from the app! You can go live from the app, you don’t have to wait to see your footage, you’re able to get real time action! WAIT! I’m not done yet! Having multiple cameras is just as easy and your able to view/control/edit/go live/ the works in ONE PLACE! Having multiple views in your content is no doubt a blast off to first class!! Hours of recording unplugged is effortless! Endless if you’re plugged! I’m so happy I purchased this camera! It’s helped me with my confidence with my content, and a big stress relief of not missing out on anything else I don’t want to miss out on !!

I’ll start with the fact that I utilize this camera for live streaming sporting events of my kids so my extended family and those of other kids can watch from wherever.I’ll also say that I have experience using GoPro for this purpose as well as a regular iPhone.iPhone is straightforward in that you just have to hit “go live” in GameChanger and set the zoom rate and go about your business. The iPhone works fine provided it’s not too hot.The GoPro had similar issues with overheating and also requires that you copy paste the RTMP address into their app from GC.Onto the Mevo. The Mevo app integrates nicely with GC-though it also uses its proprietary app-You can click to open the app directly from GC and 99% of the time the RTMP automatically pastes from GC.The amazing thing about the Mevo is that you can zoom in and out from the connected phone which allows you to show the action of the game as it’s happening. Specifically I use this to zoom in on pitchers to batters. Zooming out is effortless -everything is pinch or expand with your fingers. Because of the slight delay, I never miss a hit or fielded ball and if I’m very focused, I can catch plays at bases in zoom as well.Mevo also allows multiple cameras and you can control them all from an app on your phone. So if you really wanted to get nerdy, you could create a near professional viewing experience.The Mevo start will stream in 1080p but I believe GC supports up to 720p at the moment.The other great feature is that it will record to microSD and even if you lose the stream, recording continues.You can use an auxiliary microphone which helps cut down on noise that you don’t want to hear.The app allows a ton of adjustments to stream and save to different file types.I haven’t gotten too deep into the settings, but for those that understand all of them, it’s yours to read.Quality of video is very good most of the time, keeping in mind I’m usually streaming using cellular data since WiFi isn’t usually available to me.Feedback from families is how thankful they are that they can see their kids and grandkids etc, when they may be unable to physically attend. Parents are thankful because they can use the video as a tool to help coach their kids.Connectivity is very good compared to GPro. I have had 90% of my streams without issue at all. A few dropped streams due to poor cellular coverage and 2 times out of over a hundred where I struggled to get the Mevo to connect to my phone.Overall 5 star purchase. I haven’t even gotten into all the uses or settings. But I’m excited to continue and I may buy another!
