There’s a reason why a lot of people look to Teng Tools for torque-wrenches - they’re accurate , very reasonably priced and well-made . Obviously they’re not as accurate as some high-end digital torque-wrenches, but they’re also not five times the price - and for automobiles , they’re more than adequate .

This is a big step above above those cheapy £20 ones that flood the market. It's not going to tolerate scaff bars, but it's almost as strong as most cheapy 1/2 drive ones, and unlike them actually offers trustworthy accuracy that doesnt go wildly wrong at low torque figures. Yet it'll still do 100nm, which is enough for most automotive fasteners, and is smaller so can more easily fit into tight spaces.Detent click is ok, it's noticable at least. Being able to lock the handle in position is a very nice feature too, means you dont have to worry about accidentally changing the setting when you're giving it three grunts. Feels like it's pretty decent quality, nice to use.Already paid for itself since I was able to quickly find a suspension clonk caused by two loose bolts. I had used a cheapy one to tighten them originally but because it was a low figure it got the torque wrong they and were too loose. This tightened it correctly.

What's not to like? Absolutely nothing! Good quality, good value & simple to use.

For various reasons I now have four Teng torque wrenches, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch drive. Great quality and easy to use

Comes with a certificate. Great wee tool. Will last me a very long time as a DIYer. Remember when you set the torque to use the wrench on something with a higher torque a few times (for a few clicks). The is suppose to help to ensure you get as close as possible to your torque setting. When finished, store it with the torque setting to 0.
