8 thirsty dogs big and small
Great solution for 8 dogs. Consistently provides fresh, cool water. They LOVE it. We love not refilling and cleaning multiple bowls.

Easy to install and move to different location but a little pricey
This is fairly simple to put together and mount. Despite the instructions making it seem a little more complicated than it is. I mounted this to a nearby tree using a 2x4 block of wood and just attached a water hose to it. It fills itself about half full and then stops. As the water level goes down so does the float valve. (Like how a toilet tank operates) Kicking on the waterflow until it reaches the cut off level. To clean the bowl you simply pull on the slide plate in the back which unlocks the bowl from the wall mount. Of course, this will drop the float valve and the water will start flowing out so be sure and shut the water off first, or you can install a simple water shut off t valve between the hose and the bowl for a couple of dollars. The whole thing is stainless steel except for the float valve which is plastic. Luckily it is enclosed with a cover to protect it from UV damage. The only thing I feel should be mentioned is that this will probably not work for tiny dogs and teacup size puppies. Since you need to mount it about 5 inches from the ground in order to still be able to remove the bowl for cleaning. Technically you could mount it at ground level and simply clean it by some other means, other than removing it. i.e. spraying it out, wiping it out etc. If it is too high for your dogs, you can simply build a little ramp or some steps like I did with a board, bricks, blocks of wood etc. It's a very convenient little watering device. I plan to eventually enclose mine by building a little open doggy house around it and putting a little makeshift roof over it, to keep the leaves and stuff from falling into it. It's great on hot days, I can leave my dogs outside and not worry about them knocking their water over and getting dehydrated. Since it's connected to a garden hose, you can really move it around wherever your hose will reach and just mount it on a different surface. The instructions make it seem like you need to bolt it as if it were 80 lbs....but it's rather small and no more than a few pounds when full. So it doesn't need all that much to hold it on a wall, fence or tree. You need about 8" of horizontal surface to secure it through the three holes located on the back of the mount. It's nice, but honestly it is very overpriced for what it is. You could probably make one yourself from a few very simple items at your local hardware store, including the metal bowl. For probably half the price (maybe less) than what it's being sold for here. I've seen stainless steel bar sinks and similar drop in sinks twice this size for MUCH less. But if you have the money and want to splurge....go right ahead.

Perfect solution for large dogs.
We have 3 Boxers and they can share the bowl. It is easily detached to refresh water when needed.

Great for thirsty dogs
My big boy is a giant breed dog. He drinks a lot of water so I needed something that I didn't have to consistently monitor. This is a great solution and hooks up easily to my faucet on the deck. However, being that he's a giant breed he laps up the water very quickly and this bowl is quite small for him. We've never had a problem with it so far it seems to work great. This was exceptionally helpful during the summer months to know that my dog always had a source to drink from. Overall I think that this is probably best suited for medium to small sized animals.

Small dog bowl dispenser
Very small for a great Dane. I ask for a extra large dog it’s pretty small for that but it’s very sturdy very sturdy.

High quality. Easy install.
First off, the price of this thing is ridiculous. It should cost $50 max. But that’s a different story. It is very high quality, comes with everything you need to install and hook it up. You will probably need a longer hose to get to your hose bib and a garden house splitter if you have multiple things on your hose bib. It installed super easy. Do not over tighten the nylon but on the float valve or the valve will not function properly.I installed it around the spindle on my wooden deck. The supplied bracket fits around the spindle perfectly, but I need longer carriage bolts, only 1/2” longer. Luckily I have a huge selection of nuts and bolts because I don’t throw anything away.Once installed this is great. The valve works nice and automatically shuts off the water flow I added a shut off valve on the end so I can turn it off easily when it’s time to clean the bowl. It’s a great product. Just the price is a little crazy

Very sturdy and easy to use!
After having a poor experience with the last automatic watering bowl, I decided to step up with one made from more durable parts. This one did not let me down at all! I was a little apprehensive having to assemble it, but after looking it over and giving it a try it was surprisingly easy. There was some difficulty finding a place to mount it, so I have it just sitting on the ground which is not ideal due to dirt and debris, but it's easy to pour out and quickly refills with fresh water! The only trouble I've had is after adjusting the water connection, if you twist the connector it will pivot the float which can cause it to either stick against the side and never stop the flow, or vice versa, it never goes down and refills. I just make sure it starts and stops once after I mess with it, then it works flawlessly. I am really pleased with it, and with the comfort of knowing my pups are not out of water.
