Q: During installation, can the self stick mural me removed and reinstalled to assure that it aligns with the adjacent pieces?

Yes! I applied this mural to painted drywall. I applied it very slowly, starting from top to bottom. I never completely pressed hard and/or smoothed it out until I got to the very bottom, stepped back and could see it was just right. This mural is made up of 5 panels. I messed up the position of the 4th one; didn't fully realize that until I was almost at the bottom. I slowly lifted it away from the wall all the way back to the very top and did it over. Came off easily; we peeled up and ever slightly towards us. YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED A SECOND PERSON for those JUST IN CASE moments!!! This way, you can each lift a side at the same time; otherwise the mural would probably fold and stick to itself and then I think that'd be the end of it :(. Also, overlap the panels just a tiny bit. This way if you're a little off, it won't be noticeable at all.

Q: Wondering if anybody has hung a mural like this without adhesive and just used tacks or command strips?

We do not have knowledge about anyone using tacks or command strips to hang the mural. We do not recommend doing that, because the material will not get stretched properly and because of the the pattern will not join correctly.

Q: Is this peel and stick mural thin like renters wallpaper or is it thick like a reusable wall decal? In other words can it be removed and reused?

The self-adhesive foil is pretty thin. Once the adhesive from the material dries and sticks to the surface it will not be usable after removing it.

Q: Can this be custom sized? It would be perfect for my 142" W x 79" H space.

Unfortunately, we do not accept custom orders. The products are available only in sizes presented in the descriptions. We are very sorry.
