Was a bit skeptical at first (being refurb units), but we're very pleased with these laptops. We initially ordered a batch of 5. All of them arrived fast and as described. They were all fully functional and in very good shape. A quick wipe-down with a Clorox wipe, and they look good as new! Windows 10 was activated and they didn't arrive loaded down with a bunch of crap-ware. Fast, clean, and ready to get to work!I've already ordered a second batch and I'm sure we'll be back for more. Highly recommend!

I was very skeptical because of some of the reviews I saw here of people receiving damaged products, but in the end I decided to take a chance and I am so that I did. The device I received has a few minor scratches on the cover, a few specks of dust here and there, but is otherwise pristine. After updating Windows, I haven't had a single issue. Applications and downloads are lightning fast and I love how light the laptop is, as I purchased it for college. Received a brand new charger. Overall, I'm happy to give it five stars.

So far I am impressed by the condition and the functionality of the computer. I have looked through just about every Dell E series refurb on Amazon and landed on this seller because of the good reviews and the price. The other sellers reviews were very mixed and left me more confused than informed. My unit is in fact a Dell E7240. It is the i5 model with 8GB RAM and a 128 SSD. It has one very light scratch on the top lid under the logo but looks more like a mark than a scratch. It has a clean install of Windows 10 for refurbished devices and still has an in-tact scratch off sticker over the activation key. The RAM is 2x4 and is made up of two different chips. Although this PC can handle up to 16GB, you will have to replace both chips to do so. This is in no way a complaint. The keyboard and trackpad are very slightly worn but is to be expected on a refurbished product. Other notable features are the HD webcam which is a nice quality, a back-lit keyboard, and bluetooth.

Was sent a laptop that wouldn’t start. Turned on, blue error screen and continuous reboot loop with no actual operating system on the laptop. Seller said to contact manufacturer who told me I had no warranty (of course) and had to pay for tech support. Returning. Not a fan of the customer service either.

I received this product in decent condition. The machine worked really well, but there was some nasty stuff that I pulled out underneath the keys. I will continue to use this to see how long it'll last.In short...Pros:-laptop was renewed and hard drive cleaned out-fast and very portable-comes with Windows 10 ProCons:-nasty gunk underneath keys (I cleaned it, but who knows what's still under there)-scratches and small dents on laptop-bezel about to fall off-battery life is okay-part of screen looked pressure damagedOnly get this laptop refurbished if you are planning to use it temporarily to take notes, browse, or do light work.

I spent about 10 hours over a week's time researching refurbished small laptops (<13") and this had much better specs than any others. 3 USB 3.0 ports, dual processors, reasonable RAM and SSD storage. Build date is 2015. It was described as having a backlit keyboard but it has a non-backlit kbd that is in perfect condition, probably swapped in during refurb. It comes with Windows 10 Pro, and is set up with Legacy BIOS. I had no trouble installing Xubuntu as a dual boot (40GB Windows; 200GB Xubuntu). Intended use is for Zoom, web access while traveling, note-taking while traveling. I could probably have saved apx $50 using BestBuy, etc, but Amazon's policies on returns, etc, was worth the xtra cost. I have been using similar computers for business stuff for 30 years (since 1990) and I recommend this machine.

There wasn't scratch on it when it arrived. It was so pristine and spotless. It is lightweight and has a slim design but you can tell it is strong and sturdy as well. It is a beautiful piece of technology! I was literally blown away when I opened the box. It is not slow while surfing the internet however it can get rather overheated if there are too many windows open. The battery life however is not very long lasting but thankfully it came with a extra long power cord that can used to charge it while you use it. I'm very satisfied! This laptop however is not designed for heavy gaming. You should use it for streaming movies and surfing the internet. So far I have no complaints and I am happy with this purchase. These laptops are over $600 usually but this one was sold at only $300.
