Little Airport Sticker Activity Book (Dover Little Activity Books: Travel)

We loved it!
I brought this sticker book along on a plane trip with my 16 month old daughter. It is not meant for children that young, but with supervision it is great! My husband would lift one end of the sticker and my daughter would pull it from the page and put it on the laminated runway scene that he was holding up. My husband would say stuff like, "Where should the people go? There? In the sky? Ok!" The stickers and background scene look realistic, not cartoonish, so I think my daughter realized that they were associated with the same place where we were located. She now knows that the stickers have a sticky and a non-sticky side and places them correctly. Also, the stickers are removable from the scene since it is laminated, so it's okay if they make a mistake. Even though there are only a couple pages, there are quite a lot of stickers with all sorts of planes, vehicles, and people, since they are quite tiny. Overall, you can't beat such an educational and fun activity for the price.

Stickers Rool!
Anyone with kids, grandchildren or familiar with them, will know that stickers RULE. They are a cheap, safe way to keep your toddlers entertained but expect to find anything in range, including the family pet, well and truly stickered. When my grandchildren were going to take a trip across the USA, we read lots of articles about flying with young children. One we loved was a young woman traveling to Australia with twin two year olds. The photo she posted showed two children COVERED with stickers and big smiles. So I feel I can recommend stickers to parents with confidence at least a part of your travels will be serene.

Nice to add to a activity travel fun pack.
Cute and nice for the price. I bought this so I could qualify for free shipping. They say that the stickers can be used repetitively... I beg to differ on that. It is just about the size of a adult hand. The inside pages can tear out so the inside cover pages end up as the activity board. Most likely it provide my toddler with 5 minutes of entertainment at the most. It will be nice to have in our toddler's TSA (Traveling Survivor Arsenal).

It's basically a nice product, for what it is
First of all, let me say that I wanted to entertain a plane-obsessed 2 yr old, so in all fairness this is not a review based on the intended age-audience for the book. At age 4 I'd say this would be more understandable, though I'd then worry if it would be entertaining enough. It's basically a nice product, for what it is, but pay attention to the dimensions (it's literally "little") and note that there's only one picture page. Then there are two pages (4 before you unstaple) with stickers. The stickers are repositionable a few times, but they are still paper stickers, so unlike cling stickers they lose their stickiness, they can stick to themselves when folded, and they aren't really durable. That said, if you look at the price and what something to hold a kids attention for a short time, it's a nice little book. Just know what you're getting

Small, fine for travel
So this a small sticker book. About the size of your hand with 3 pages of stickers and 2 pages to put the stickers on. For the price it's fine and good for traveling.

Phew!! Saved our landing!
This little sticker book saved us when it was time to put away our iPad for landing and our 2 1/2 year son "didn't want" to! I hid away many little books and toys for his first flight (5 1/2 hours to Hawaii) and this little book really was a hit. He loved picking out and arranging the stickers on the airport scene back drop..made him forget about the iPad and entertained him until we landed. I liked the tiny size, but wished it had more scene back drops, as the one page filled up quickly with stickers and there were many more stickers left over. Also, even though the stickers peel off easily it would be difficult to reuse them because they curl up. We could peel off the stickers he used on our last flight though and reuse the back drop with the unused stickers next time. Overall for the cost and the reward it gave us and our son, I give it 5 stars and say it's beyond worth it!

WASTE: Tiny, not reusable stickers - thus not enough space for sticker use.
Such a good idea, but made very cheaply and so does not work out.The total size of the book is a quarter of a letter sheet. You open the booklet and there are a total of one full sheet of stickers to place on a half-size letter sheet of space. The sticker sheets are stapled inside and the booklet is the image that you place the stickers onto, which is made of a sturdier card stock. The stickers are very thin, easily tears, and are thus NOT reusable. I had to copy and print out multiple pages of the image provided, so as to not spoil the fun.I ordered several of these based on the glowing reviews. I have a 2 and 4 year old and have been through the gamut of books and found much better quality at dollar stores. I am really flabbergasted and suspicious of how highly these books are rated.Save your money and just order a bigger book. We love Roger Priddy books - great quality, very sturdy and vibrant images. He has great content - puzzles, content recognition, letters/numbers, etc. Cannot recommend these highly enough. He even has some editions with CD with all the sticker images on them, just in case you need extras -- torn or misplaced stickers. His books are keepers after all the sticker fun is done.

Not reusable! Stickers rip very easily.
Was excited to use this sticker book to entertain my toddler on a long flight, but there were two issues with this book that:1. The stickers were hard to remove initially from the paper backing.2. The stickers ALWAYS ripped and could never be repositioned, as advertised.Even when I very carefully tried to peel them off the “glossy” background, they ripped. We only got about 5 minutes of fun out of this book. Very disappointing. (Would’ve been one star, but my toddler did enjoy using the remaining stickers as regular, one-time-use stickers.)
