Montana Silversmiths Silver Belt Buckle

The last buckle I bought was in 1979. It went through a lot and it was falling apart. This one will be my last. I am pleased with the fit and finish and this style professes my faith.

It’s very nice. What I thought were genuine mounted Buffalo nickels is actually an imprinted image into the silver. Which I’m fine with, pure silver is worth more than nickels. But I wish the buckle was stamped .999 silver on the back to authenticate. Also, the description said the Indian was yellow gold plated over brass. But in person it looks like straight brass without the gold plating. I put in the watch with genuine 18k gold band next to it as a reference for the color difference. So, might be somewhat overpriced, but it’s unique and a great looking buckle.

It's the perfect size buckle and I like that it has alot of silver with the gold.
