Used these to make my own candles. Solid quality for both jars and lids. Will get again when needed.

Unlike other jars I have tried, the lids on this have not rusted. I use them for zero waste shopping.

I noticed a lot of reviewers had problems with lids. I did not. They screw on fine and stay there. They are not threaded like a mason jar lid ring. This may be the problem for some people. They are kind of like pickle jars where the lid has some indents that grab the glass jar's threads.I wouldn't call these canning jars, however. I did not try to use them for canning. They may create a good seal in a water bath canning but I didn't test this. I don't think I'd try them for pressure canning as mason jars are really specific to the process with their separate lids and rings.They must be airtight since I put some water in a jar, put the cover on, and turned it upside down. There were no water leaks. THere is a rubber ring built into the lid to help the seal.I liked the size of these jars, too. The weight of the glass is good.I'm using them to store bulk herbs so the size is perfect.I suspect the seller or manufacturer may have had an issue matching jars and lids that is now fixed. It's also possible that some folks just are not confident with lids that do not have threads.

Exactly what I was looking for! Hold plenty and are excellent quality. Metal lids are great bc I don't have to worry about them breaking or melting\warping in the dishwasher! Def recommend!!

Let's face it, shipping glass via UPS is a gamble. Mine arrived with several damaged but some were fine and usable. I wrote to Seller for assistance and they just wanted me to ship it all back and get a replacement but I have local orders to fill NOW and don't have time for all of that and I didn't ask for refund or a total replacement, just what was broke.I'm just going to have to take a loss on this one and drive over an hour each way to buy replacements locally because I am running a business and I just don't have time for this. It's a shame too because I REALLY like the bottles but I can't see relying on this supplier if there is a problem.As for the bottles, really they are perfect! The ones I was able to use did great with the marbling effect and the are made perfectly for crafting the bottles. They have a nice thickness and are visually appealing and the price was actually under my budget.

I purchased 2 cases of these for candles, I had 2 customers come back to me with the top cracked after burning the candle. Today I was using a heat gun to smooth the top of my candle and the jar crack perfectly on the top. Very dangerous and will never purchase again.

I read the reviews and took a chance. Like others have said the lids do not fit properly. Unfortunately I did not examine all the jars before using them. Most of them have what could be mistaken for cracks on the bottom, but appear to be manufacturing defects. Some have indentations in the sides of the glass. I did contact the seller after I noticed, and was told I could return all the jars for a refund . I had already used 2 of them so I cannot do that. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the 2 jars I did use looked nice .
