Top notch replacement
The 220A replacement for the E70 3.0si trim (07-10). Great engine, will run 300k if taken care of, so wanted a high quality alternator replacement when my refurb Bosch gave out (avoid refurb starters and alternators).Fit right in and works great, compatible with the cars electronics and IBS.Note - you will want to purchase the set of 4 aluminum bolts to install this from the dealer. Part 12 31 0 392 568. Around $30 at the dealer. They are aluminum and stretch as you tighten them (10nm then 180 degree additional turn).Have a big breaker bar with a T60 for the belt tensioner and E12 socket for the bolts. One of the easiest jobs on the car, thankfully.

Genuine part and delivered quickly
Genuine first quality part. Competitively priced but delivered at home and faster than the local parts stores could get it to me. The quick delivery saved us from having to get a rental car. Install on BMW X5 E70 was a breeze. This one is the one that works with 4 zone climate control.

This is 220Amp one which is difficult to find.
It matched after I purchased couple of wrong models that were 180 Amp. My car required 220 Amp and this was the right match
