The best high gain lunchbox amp
The Ironball SE sounds incredible. Super tight, huge, aggressive high tones along with lovely cleans, cool features like delay/reverb, MIDI control, a wonderful built in noise gate, cab sim, etc.The other reviewer I don't think took the time to actually dial in the amp as it's difficult to get a bad sound out of this thing. If tone controls are set around 11-1 o'clock and the gain isn't maxed out with the gain boost on, it'll sound brutal and clear with no noise.The IB SE absolutely smokes any other low wattage high gain amp I've heard (EVH, Revv, Peavey, Mesa, etc).

Bad distortion, Noisy and does not like pedals
Can't fidn the right Metal tone, and the noise gate was obviously added as the noise this thing makes so much side noise- i thought i had bad plug or outlet, sounds like bad interference making it unplayable at home. Every pedal I've added sounds horrible, not sure what the fx loop is doing but, it can't get that right. they. clean channel does sound nice with not noise but, Engl is known as a metal amp. Get an Orang rocker and save some cash.
