Perfect for our needs. Very sturdy and pretty!!

This timer is excellent for children with small hands. The ends are rubberized to keep it from slipping and sliding. The color is great and size is excellent.

I got three different minute ones of these. All great and colorful. They add excitement to games. I got the 5 minute one for a younger grandson so his folks could have him time, "5 more minutes" at a game, or cleaning his room, or practicing his spelling, etc. The 10 minute timer was for the grandson to practice piano. Yes, he needs to practice more than that, but 10 minutes at one shot is the right time for him. They were what I wanted. The sand flowed freely, and the timing was pretty close, perhaps a few seconds off.

We use this for our dinner meals sit down time. Our kids love it and they've dropped it multiple times and it doesn't break. The sand drops fine. I didn't measure it with the stopwatch. It's also plenty big.

This is a great tool for the children to use themselves while at a sensory table or any timed activity when kids cant tell time or don't yet have the concept of time. This serves as a visual timer that they can see as their time runs out to adequately prepare them to know when the activity is coming to an end. This helps develop taking turns.

I don't have any problems with the functionality of the timer. My problem is the size, and that's my bad for not reading the dimensions. It's as tall, if not taller than my hand, and almost as wide as my hand. I bought this for my daughter, who is 5. Definitely read the dimensions first.

This timer is well made and a nice bright purple. Great visual for smaller children when they only have ten minutes to complete an activity. Highly recommend. This would make an amazing gift for an Elementary teacher.
