Brilliant!
Excellent build quality, edge to edge sharpness, above average field of view. Highly recommend as top in class for value. 95% as good as an alpha glass binocular like Swarovski at 30% of the price. I got this as a gift for a family member who loves to go birdwatching but can be hard on her equipment and loses things. This is a great compromise.

Top Quality!
These replaced my 20 year old Nikon Monarchs, what I really liked. The glass and clarity quality of these Mavens are superior. These do weight a little more but are worth the added weight. I hunted this past year with them with no issues, other than the same one some others have had with the eyecup staying in place.

Really nice binoculars from Maven
These are excellent binoculars for bird watching and just checking out scenery on a hike. Thank you Maven for shipping them so quickly. They are so solid and have glass from Japan!

Sweet surprise
I consider myself something of a binoculars snob having cherished my Zeiss 7x42 Dialyts for many years. So I was nervous buying my spouse an expensive pair from a manufacturer I'd never heard of. These bins live up to the reviews and the price. These are 8x and my Zeisses are 7x so I expected some benefit, but they are as good as my Zeisses in low light conditions. I never expected that. The image is clear and bright. I was looking at a Nuttall's on my feeder. No big deal, but that black just popped. My spouse loves the fast focus and that they can focus very close. Without detailing everything I like about them, I'll just say this gift earned me big brownie points.

Amazing Glass!
I was stuck between a few other 10x42 binos ranging price from $1599-$1999 (Vortex and Swaro) and boy I’m glad I pulled the trigger on the Maven B1.2 10x42’s. I can’t believe how crisp and clear you can get them focused with the precise dial. This is a huge step for me coming from some Vortex Diamond Backs (which I thought were amazing for the price) but I’m sure glad I pulled the trigger on these.

Maven B1 series is a very fine product.
This time I ordered the 10x42 B1.2 from Amazon. Last Maven purchase I went directly to Maven for a larger pair but out of the B1 line-up. These 10x42's are just amazing. If you want a good pair with all the features like that of the much higher priced optics, you can't beat these. Many like Vortex, & like their performance too, one should take a look at Mavens and do a comparison. I know everybody's eyes are different, but for me I'm sold on Maven. I like Japanese made optics/glass, 99% of all my camera lenses are made in Japan. Same as these B1 series line. Hopefully it doesn't change as I will be looking for a new scope in the near future.

Very Disappointed
It wasn't like the one that I viewed through at sportmans show. No color or contrast. My $300 pair of binoculars are better. They did have better edge to edge clarity.I was hoping that I could see better at low light but no, they were worst.
