Works on MSI GS63 Stealth 8RE
My original battery was only lasting maybe 20 minutes. This was my first laptop where the battery didn't pop out for a simple replacement so I wasn't sure what I could do and even considered purchasing another laptop. I looked on YouTube and found a video on the battery and how to change it. I found this battery on Amazon for less than $50 and thought it was worth the gamble.Following the instructions shown on the YouTube video it was a simple change out. It let me know I would find a screw under the factory seal tape on the bottom. It didn't matter if I broke the seal because the computer was already out of warranty.Once I put the laptop back together, I powered it up just on the battery to ensure I connected it properly. It worked but I did get a low battery message. I powered down the laptop and allowed the battery to be charged for several hours. The little red light came on showing the battery was charging. The red light had gone out when I powered up the laptop, just on the battery. All worked well. At first the battery life indicator on the bottom right screen showed 1 hour 40 minutes life to the battery, which did not make me happy. However, after maybe 20 minutes the battery life indicator readjusted to read over 4 hours 30 minutes at 85% remaining.The replacement battery revived my MSI laptop. I'm very happy so far.

Cette batterie est Ă bout de souffle
Elle se comporte comme une batterie usagée :- quand elle est trop déchargée pour faire tourner le PC, si on démarre avec l'alimentation secteur, elle affiche miraculeusement déjà 60% de charge.- le PC ne détecte pas quand la charge est faible. Au lieu de mettre en économie d'énergie, puis de s'éteindre proprement, il crash violemment sans crier gare.- au bout de 2 jours, elle ne charge plus qu'à 94% au max=> retour immédiat !
