No problems or issues
Easy installation and setup, and it is working great so far.

Works perfectly with my Raspberry Pi
I use this off and on if I need to convert my Raspberry pi output to something for an older/non-HDMI monitor. I've had this capture card converter for awhile now and it works perfectly when I need it. I don't use it on a daily basis, just if I'm using a different monitor that doesn't have HDMI.It does what it's supposed to, and output quality is good. I've used it for coding, where there's lots of tiny text, and it works fine at the other end. Note that the quality of what you see on your final monitor is going to depend quite a lot on what application you're using to view it with. One viewing application gave a poor quality image, which I would've possibly blamed on this card, except then I tried a different viewer application on the monitor and it gave a perfectly clear image. In any case, the limiting factor is not this video capture card!

Required to use for my laptop
Used this so I can put my fire stick on my laptop l. This was required. It worked great. Easy to use.

Not for voice audio using a headset
I would like to point out that this capture card does not support voice audio. I got it thinking it would work with just my laptop mic jax but apparently that's not the case. That's why I'm only giving it 3 Stars, this works for audio capture only and not voice audio

Works better than I expected
I needed a way to look at HDMI video on my laptop for a project I was working on. I saw this device and gave it a try not having very high expectations. Boy was I shocked!The adapter interfaced quickly and easily on my laptop with no issues. The provided software while a bit overly complicated does offer quite a few options. The one thing I found most useful was the ability to record from the device, a really nice feature!If I could change any one thing, it would be to make the software a bit more intuitive. You really have to play around with it in order to get things working. Once you do, then things work just fine.

Capture device fails quickly - defective
Worked for about 6 months (total of about 20 streams) before not working completely. PC will not recognize it at all. Do not recommend buying. Save your money and get a more expensive capture device from another manufacturer.
