GOOSEBUMPS WITH A TERRIFIC TWIST.
When I started reading this book, it seemed massive in its scope and portent. The one thing that stands out about this book is how un-put-downable it is. The writing has an outstanding story flow and every single bit of the book is well-explained without boring you with details. The plot itself is ripe and outstanding, it will make every reader curious and the characters are firm. Moreover the atmosphere is intense, speculative and awe-inspiring. I finished this in under 2 days as it was so good. That's about 8 to 10 hours of steady reading on my Kindle. Totally worth it. I would compare it with "girl on the train" , "the silent patient" , even "dracula" but honestly i find that its better than all the rest. So good I made my wife also begin it at once. She may take longer but WOW! RUTH WARE you enigma!

Has some good thrilling moments but storyline could have been better!
1) What did I like? It’s an easy read, you get into the rhythm from very initial pages. The story builds up nicely and setup is gripping. The thrilling moments start sneaking in soon enough and always keep you on edge.2) What I did not like? The story suddenly takes revealing turn towards the end. I found it implausible and felt slightly let down after all the initial gripping setup.

I am so glad that I got introduced to this book and I am so glad it came in my life. This is easily one of the best mystery thriller novels I have ever read. The entire book is in a form of a letter written by a girl called Rowen to a lawyer by whom she wants to be represented in a trial for murder. She starts by saying that she hasn’t killed anybody. And then continues to talk about the entire series of events that happened before the unfortunate incident and how she is not the one who did it.The books takes you through a creepy household and some creepy characters. At times when I was reading the book it gave me the chills and was even looking like a supernatural thriller. But eventually it starts to make all the sense in the world. It is filled with a small and big suspenses throughout till the last page. The end blew my mind and it was nothing what I expected. It is faced paced novel and any person who loves the mystery thriller genre will be able to finish it in no time. It’s a great book and I would highly recommend it.

Too much extended
Good book but the plot was not written well. Too much extended as well could have been finished within 200 pages.

Same old thriller
Pretty normal stuff, there is monotony in the first half of the book and even when the plot picks up, it doesn’t offer anything new. Yes there are twists, but they stuffed all together in the last 40 pages. But if you are looking for a terrific ending and have the will and patience to read 300 pages fir that, definitely pick this up. 1 star only for the ending.

A THRILLER THAT WILL KEEP U AT THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT
A MUST READ NOVEL FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TO READ THRILLERS. THE BOOK HAS A UNIQUE WRITING STYLE AND THE WHOLE BOOK IS A LETTER WRITTEN BY ROWAN TO A LAWYER FROM WHOM SHE IS SEEKING HELP TO GET OUT OF JAIL FOR A CRIME FOR WHICH SHE HASN'T COMMITTED. THE PSYCHOLOGICAL POWER OF THE BOOK WAS RIGHT UP TO THE VERY END.THE BOOK HAS EVERYTHING A SWEET NANNY, A HAUNTED HOUSE, NAUGHTY RUGRATS, SEXY DRIVER. THE BOOK HAS ENOUGH TWIST AND TURNS TO KEEP YOU GUESSING.

That’s how a derivative work of art should be!
A young nanny is left incharge of three children in the absence of either parent on day two of her employment. The old house in the wilderness has been renovated into a “smart” house by the tech savvy architect parents in a manner that leaves the house with a split personality and disorienting - a nod to The Haunting of Hill House, perhaps? The kids are precocious and unwelcoming and the house has a dark history. What follows is a series of unnatural events leading to the death of a child. The nanny says she didn’t do it and proceeds to narrate her version of the events. Do we believe her?Part menacing, part heartbreaking, mostly gripping.Contrary to the Henry James classic that inspired this book, Ruth Ware resolves every last thread and leaves nothing unanswered. That alone could be both the best and the worst thing about The Turn of the Key.
