Don't hesitate, buy them. They can't loosen while you're using them like an adjustable wrench, they grip tighter while you're using them like channel locks. Unlike channel locks, the two gripping sides always remain parallel. This makes them perfect for holding things, not stripping nuts, crimping and many other uses you'll find for them. Super quality too.

Outstanding design & quality- works like a Cresent wrench but holds tension like channelok pliers so you don't round off the nut or bolt- wish I'd have bought these years ago

I got these as gifts for my relatives who helped me insulate and drywall my garage. They were well received. A great gift.

I though these were just some run of the mill plier wrenches being oversold by tool influencer hype beasts, but after trying my coworkers, I immediately purchased and haven't picked up a regular adjustable wrench since. Keep in mind, these will NOT replace your classic, tongue-and-groove hammer-locks, but compliment them. Excellent for plumbing, new construction or service, where there's alot of soft metal/ finish coated components that you don't want to mar up and ruin. I work in multimillion dollar homes, where any one shower alone is worth more than my life, and I fully trust these wrenches to not let me down. The only real weakness they have is that the jaws don't swing wide open because of the two point hinged jaws, which kind of limits maneuverability at first, but it just takes some getting used to. Once you figure out how to size them, they're so much faster and easier to control. Extremely ergonomic, very well made. They can be a pain to clean, but I just use these smoking pipe cleaners (like crafting pipe cleaners on pcp) to get all up in the nooks and crannies . Take care of them regularly and they'll take care of you for life.

I had been seeing these on a Reddit forum so I decided to try them out. I’ve already used the smaller ones plenty of times to make we happy that I bought them. I’ve been cursing my adjustable crescent wrench for too many years. Note to others who might be considering these. I am surprised at how wide the smaller pliers open. I replaced a trailer hub and bearings last weekend using just the little wrench. I probably would go with just the smaller wrench if I were to buy again. These are definitely a game changer for me. I’m not in the trades but do a lot of miscellaneous jobs. I try to keep my tool carrier from getting too heavy and these definitely help in that regard.One thing to note: in the videos they kind of make it seem like these ratchet. They don’t but after a little practice you can get a similar action but you do need to release the pressure and turn.

Love the quality of Knipix they were exactly the sizes I needed and made from Knipix I know they are tough.
