Works well, easy setup. Fan is a bit whiney though.
Works well with easy installation. No software configuration required. However, I do keep hearing the fan spin up and down and it's as whiney as you may expect for such a small fan. So, keep that in mind for where you plan on using the RasPi+PoE.Currently powered by UniFi Switch Lite 8 PoE.

Excellent PoE hat with small issues
I'm trying to put together a small Pi build to be rack-mounted. PoE is an excellent way to provide power, and I've used various official PoE hats in the past, but found these small PoE hats. A common issue with most PoE hats is that they don't lend themselves to having other hats stacked. These hats work great, and due to their low profile and small size, in theory allow other hats to be used. But, there is a small problem: these hats take over GPIO connector pins 1-6 (2 x 5v, 1 x 3v3, 1 x GND, I2C SDA & SCL). Basically, those pins are blocked, and because the hat has to be the first hat in the stack, The PoE hat does break all those pins out, but they're on the side, meaning they can't easily be used for hats stacked on top. Now, as it turns out, the hat I wanted to stack, an Adafruit Ultimate GPS hat, doesn't use those pins (it is 3v3 only, and there is another 3v3 pin). So, in my case, these PoE hats are almost perfect. In my case I clipped the top 6 pins from a connector, reducing it to 34 pins. I could also have taken a Dremel to the 40-pin connector, but there's enough room to shift it over to allow the blocked pins to overlap the inside edge of the board. In any case, it stacks nicely with those pins blocked. See picture.Anyway, these low-profile PoE hats are great for my purposes, but make sure you either don't need to stack any other hats, or that you can do without those top 6 pins. Or, you can rig-up a connector that will use the side-mounted pin header on the PoE hat.

Great functionality! Need to adjust fan speed
The fan turns on and off a lot and is LOUD. I had to add some lines to my /boot/config.txt file to slow the fan down in order to keep it quiet. A quick Google will show you how. Totally worth it overall!

Be very very careful installing this onto the Pi
I slipped in onto the board and it didn't work out of the box. Zero instructions in the packaging but the pins are fairly obvious. What I learned from another review here is that unless you have your finger/thumb firmly behind the square box where the PoE power pins come through, it's easy to lift that connector off the board. Firmly reseating it has at least temporarily fixed it for me, but it's probably not a solid connection and you could easily push the connector off the Hat if you simply seat the board on the pins without applying the force via the black connector.Good things - it's compact, it is convenient for sending power to a pi. Yes fans are noisy (I'm using one that came with the enclosure) but that's a trade off in life

2 out of 5 died in under a year.
I ordered 5 of these in October of 2023 and by August of 2024 two out of the five of them were dead. The two dead ones would just try to start and fail repeatedly, you could hear it if you put your ear up to them. Reluctantly ordered replacements to keep the same hardware as the other Pi's in the cluster and hopefully won't regret buying the same brand, time will tell.

Works well
These POE hats were pretty easy to install. They come with screws and standoffs (female to female) to attach the hat to your Pi. I did have to purchase some different standoffs (male to female) due to the case that my Pi's are in. One of the POE hats was defective and they replaced it pretty quickly.
