I didn’t realize headphone ear covers were removable and replaceable. Who knew! I have an older model of Sony headphones. I couldn’t find the model number so I matched mine to the measurements in the specs. I was a little hesitant purchasing these. I wasn’t sure about quality or ease of putting them on (based on some reviews). The new covers look the same, are the same size, and feel the same. It took me a minute to understand the meager directions and figure out how to get the covers on, but I was able to put both sides on in 5 minutes. I couldn’t use the little tool, but I did use my fingertips and short nails. I’m right handed so I held the headphone ear piece and foam cover in my left hand and used my right to get the cover on. Once I got one part of the edge of the cover to slide into the gap, I used my thumb to hold the cover against the earpiece, right down the middle, so it wouldn’t slide around or come loose. Working my way around the edge of the ear piece, I used my right thumb and pointer finger to pull the foam cover edge out and then push and wiggle that edge down into the gap. Once I figured out the edge of the foam cover has a little give and won’t tear when you’re pulling on it, round and round I went with no issues. Sound quality is the same as with the old foam covers. I hope they are durable and last awhile.

When these arrived, I was afraid they wouldn’t fit; but, with the aid of a pair of tweezers, I was able to fit the edges around my current headset perfectly.They’re not only comfortable, but the foam is much more substantial than I had anticipated. They fit so snugly and close, I was surprisingly pleased.These are by far even better than the original earpiece covers which came with the headset. Well worth the money; and now, I can wear my headset in comfort.

Perfect fit on the Sony MDR-V4 headphones, although you do have to finagle the edges a bit to get the material down in the slot. I used a dull putty knife, but the blunt end of a nail file should also work. Work the material all the way over the ridges and then back in. Be gentle, but sometimes you have to pull pretty hard.

As the photo indicates, the replacement ear pad is a touch smaller (and thinner) than the original Sony pad it's replacing, and has a soft crinkly surface rather than the smooth fake leather that's prone to cracking and flaking. It went on without too much problem, second one took less than a minute. I noticed when I put headphones on with replacement pads , it takes a moment or two for the crinkle in the material to settle. A bit annoying versus the original. I kind of like the mesh with right and left easily marked. I think they will be comfortable enough.

Fit perfectly. My headphones were Brookstone. Took some time to slowly install because I did not want to damage the thin material. Having someone hold the start part in place does help. Now the test is in the faux leather to see how soon it peels away.

I purchased to replace my Sony Ear Phone pad that had worn out. I couldn't order by Model Number but the measurement lookedd to be the same. They fit really well! I would definately buy these again. They seem to be very good quality.

These are so great! I have the JBL Tune 520 BT headphones and these fit perfectly! Don’t let the second picture fool you, these puff up and become nearly the same size as the ones the originals come with. The installment wasn’t fairly easy, just tedious. I’m considering purchasing other colors to mix and match. Great product and instruction manual!
