Exactly what I needed. Had AGM and Lead battery charger, but my new car came with the Li-ion battery. This has multiple options, will work with all common car batteries. A bit pricy but how often you buy these? In my opinion, worth the money.

Paid for BMW name on it
Works as well as advertised, but I’m not sure it’s any better -or even different from- the equivalent CTEK unit which costs less. They look the same so I suspect CTEK makes them for BMW.

BMW battery charger is perfect to properly charge the battery
I bought a new BMW battery a yr ago, car has been sitting for a couple weeks at times, I noticed a discharge light when I started it up...it would go away...but no other battery charger seemed to correct this.Then I bought the bmw battery with it's 7 phases of desulfurization correction and charging... Wow...the car has no discharge light even sitting for a couple weeks and temperatures below 20degrees.....I am impressed.

The charge works
This charger really works. I travel over the road two weeks at a time,and when I get back I need a boost. So now I keep my 2006 BMW X3 in the garage on charge. I love that it does not over charge, even though I keep.it on charge. I highly recommend this charger, the price and instructions are great. Accept I followed the YouTube video on the C-Tex and BMW charger.

Works very well
Battery charger works very well, it status light so you know when the battery is fully charged. it also works as a battery maintainer if you are going to store your car. It also has protection if you hook it up backwards.
