Adding this Short Circuit 2 Deluxe Limited Edition from 88 Films to my collection has brought me immense joy and nostalgia, and it's a must have for fans of the classic 80s comedy. Exceeding my expectations in every possible way, this set is a true treasure trove of memorabilia and collectibles that any enthusiast would cherish. While the included Blu-ray disc is region-locked, the stunning packaging and wealth of bonus materials make this set an essential purchase.First and foremost, the packaging of this deluxe edition is a visual delight. And finally, including a fold out poster is a fantastic addition because it features a dynamic design that would look great on any wall, adding a touch of classic movie magic to your decor.Unfortunately, being region locked, I cannot watch with the new feature length commentary by director Kenneth Johnson or the two new interviews featured in the bonus section. Despite the included region B Blu-ray, I feel that the ability to house your own region free disc in this stellar packaging makes it worthwhile. Overall, this deluxe set treats the cult classic with the reverence it deserves through its stunning presentation and bevy of quality extras

Very very nostalgic incredibly family-oriented very fun entertaining awesome movie featuring number Johnny 5 from the first movie short circuit this one is the best in the series and deserves a third and final trilogy please watch this movie you will enjoy it everybody will

This movie is a forgotten classic and bears rewatching, in my case at least once a year. All of the characters are so believable and funny. I love how Johnny 5 takes their situation and shakes it up in the most hilarious way.The movie depends on a very familiar sequel trope — "just like the first one except this time in New York" — zany, I know. However, every character is so unique and believable and you really want to root for them. It doesn't feel formulaic, and a lot of the situations are memorable and funny. There's even an philosophical undertone about what it really means to exist, even if you're a machine. Pretty sure Star Trek took notes.What really made this movie a classic for me is the end. Won't spoil it but the stakes feel real, and I always worry the bad guys might actually win. Then suddenly "I Need a Hero" comes on and you know those jewel thieves are screwed.Admittedly by today's standards a white actor in "brown face" playing an Indian character is bad. I never even realized that until I rewatched it as an adult and think today it would be done differently. However, I still love that character, think he played it respectfully, and I hope it didn't offend too many people because I think he did his best with the material.The movie may have been panned when it came out but those critics don't know anything. Yeah it's silly but it's so much fun, not every movie needs to be Oscar worthy. This is way better than the original and I will watch it again and again.

This was a great little 80s comedy from my childhood. If you’re looking for a comedy with some action, you may want tot give this movie a try. And with this Blu-ray they cleaned up the picture a bit better. It looks great and sounds great on Blu-ray.

This a fun and lite hearted Sci-Fi movie. If you're a Science Fiction fan or an 80's kid then you'll love this movie.
