Impressive features, good coverage and speed at reasonable price.
Router was easy to set up. I am using it as a wireless repeater, which not all routers have this capability. It was a straight forward process to change the functionality from typical router to repeater. Signal strength and speed have been impressive so far. Device has a small foot print, and seems to be built well. For the price it has impressive features. I would definitely recommend.

GOOD ROUTER FOR A GOOD PRICE...
Really easy and quick set up. Basic steps of plug ins and then final step was go to Cudy.net and was real simple to finish the set up as well as change password if you want... My provider recommended this Router for the price and said for good performance and to help keep Router from overheating is to put it up on a couple of small blocks, a wire basket or something to allow the air to flow under it to cool, since the air vents are on the bottom of most routers...

Signal is average. VPN doesn’t work.
Likes:Got it on sale for $29.99.Lots of options like port forwarding etc.Stable Wi-Fi connection. I’ve never had a Wi-Fi drop.Customer support respond promptly.EDIT:VPN doesn't work. Customer support does not respond promptly, I finally got an email about a month later (contrary to what I said above)... so your results may vary.I highly recommend flashing the Custom Cudy OpenWRT image (you may have to email [email protected] for the link) and then googling for julian julyworld and go to cudy x6 firmware -> releases -> stable and get the squashfs-update.bin and flash that! (Only do this if you are super advanced because changing the ssid, or any setting, of the 5.gz channel has a bug that removes radio1, you have to manually add the green lines and not the red ones. So you have to be able to ssh into the router to edit the network config file [know how to use vi] to change the password and ssid for radio1 after you enable it. BUG). You can get the lines to add to the network config file from changing radio1 ssid and password and then looking at the lines it says it will edit. Just click revert and ssh in and add only the green lines it listed. That firmware has a built-in ad-blocker so lots of my Roku channels skip by the commercials now (yay)!

Excellent router
I replaced an older router with this one and I'm very pleased. I bought this because I wanted to install openWRT - which I did after a couple of days of using the firmware that came with it. I really wanted to SSH into the router and couldn't do that with Cudy's firmware. However, after I loaded the current openWRT release for this hardware, I decided to just return to the stock firmware until I have a need to do something it doesn't. However, I'm pleased with the stock firmware and will likely leave it like it is. It's fast and at this price, is a great buy.

For the price, it's awesome
I feel like I have to preface everything I say in this review with "For the price, ". This is a distinctly mediocre Wifi 6 AX router, but it's priced like a low-end ac router, which is honestly awesome. The stock firmware is definitely mediocre (it's an old OpenWRT snapshot with lots of functionality removed, and an ugly, simplified luci overlay). Fortunately, the company provides a signed, relatively new standard OpenWRT snapshot image you can download and flash, and once you do that, you can update to the latest OpenWRT (22.03.0-rc6 at this writing), which is amazing, and turns this router into a fully capable, infinitely customizable machine. The CPU is definitely under-powered, so don't expect this thing to provide a gigabit VPN server, but for basic routing tasks, it's sufficient to route GBe traffic.

Great Router for the Dollar
Love this router, allows for VPN access, easy user interface, great wifi signal. I've installed many many of these for customers in my Tech Firm. Have yet to replace one.
