good looking, durable, and comfortable
Ordered these in January of 2024, one of the best purchases in my life! Comfortable, durable, easy to wear working or playing, and after more than a year there's no sign of wear. Instructions are to use boot conditioner on them, and it will darken the color - I'm okay with it, they still look great. I don't know how they'd wear without the conditioner, caveat emptor. I even shined them up and wore them to church for awhile, but they're a little wide for the cuffs on my suit; tendency for the cuff to catch and hike up when I stood up to walk away. But the rest of the week, great!

Work boots with style
I’ve had a lot of boots over the years working in construction from 5 pairs of Red wings, a pair of Carolina’s, Irish Setter etc. I never had a pair of cowboy work boots until this pair from Durango. Let me first off by saying that these boots are NICE. Everyone commented me on my boots while working telling me that they look like dress boots and I should take care of them. The color and design I felt was very good. I think the thing I love the most is the durability. I work in construction ( climbing ladders and walking constantly flights of stairs carrying sacks of concrete and material, walking constantly on gravel and rocks, framing.) and these boots just haven’t budged. They are comfortable and the weight doesn’t compare to other boots I had, there light. The only thing was in the beginning my big toes started to hurt due to the steel toe since my boots weren’t broken in yet but within 1 week and a half I didn’t really feel it anymore. Other than that they’ve been great and I definitely recommend them and I would buy another pair once these are worn down. Definitely made me want to also have nothing but cowboy boots to wear outside of work.

This is a great boot!!!
I have wide feet so I always look for EE width in my boots. These Durango boots fit great from day one. The width is perfect for me and they are very, very comfortable.I can’t speak to the long term durability but so far I’m really happy.

Don’t use their sizing chart. Just get your normal shoe size.
I love the look and durability. However they are too small. I had to return the first attempt because the size chart said I was a 7. So that was way too small. So I went up a size which fit with the insoles that came with the boot. But those wore out and I found nice insoles that are comfy. However the boot is now way to tight on the toes. Makes wanting to wear them a hassle. I should have just bought my normal size 9-10 without looking at their chart. Then I would have enough room for nicer insoles. If I could I would exchange them for size 9 or even 10.

Ok boot but fit is larger than expected
These boots fit larger than whats listed. The Durango Workhorse Steel Toe start out a bit stiffer than some of the other models I have tried from this brand. Take a while to break in. Highly recommend sole replacement as soon as you get them.Pro- Steel toe- Feels lighter than average steel toe- Feels durableCons- Extra stiff- Long break in time- Loose fit

Comfortable Out of the Box!
VERY Comfortable right out of the box. The fit is 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear. Great value. Would highly recommend.

Stiff
Look good but they are the most uncomfortable boot I've ever purchased. I gave them away after 3 weeks of blisters on my heels.
