Wow for the money you can't do better.

bought this to replace a B550 Mortar Max Wifi that randomly died on me, took a chance and got this renewed board. Slapped my 5700G and 16gb of team group 3600mhz ram into it and it booted right up with an update bios from march of 2024, loaded the latest bios onto it and it was off to the races. Will update if this one decides to randomly give me issues. Last MSI board lasted only 8 months

La tarjeta vino sucia, con algunos rayones y la caja en mal estado, si quieres tener la satisfacción de abrir algo nuevo mejor comprarla nueva así renovaba no te la recomiendo comprar, se puede ver la suciedad en las fotos y no es nada recomendable ya que aún no se ha probado pero estoy esperando para hacer la devolución y vino sin la malla de aluminio de los puertos HDMI, USB que se colocs en el gabinete para la motherboard, también vino sin el disipador de el m.2 no es confiable comprar renovada

Looked brand new, complete with all necessary parts, installed and works great. I did have to change the bios setting to boot into windows and not grub which I thought was unusual. Nothing to complain about so far, good price, fast delivery and works as advertised!

It's not a huge savings to get this motherboard with Amazon renewed. So I'm not sure it is worth the gamble even though you can return it if broken I'm sure.First off, I'm very comfortable putting computers and servers together. I often buy used server hardware and it has all sorts of missing parts, dirt, dust, etc.I picked up this MSI motherboard renewed and it had some thermal paste on the socket. I don't think it was enough to be a problem, but I cleaned it out carefully with a toothpick and some rubbing alcohol on a cloth wiping the surface. Then the back of the board also had thermal paste on it even more so. Someone must have had it all over their hands when handling the board is my only thought. Again, easy to clean up, but why wasn't it cleaned in the first place?So I wish it would have been better cleaned. Also there was a scratch on the io armor, the aluminum which is painted black was showing the metal. I took a sharpie and made it blend in. Not a huge deal, but just the look of the board...it was more used than refurbished.Typically with a refurb or anything off Amazon renewed I'd expect things to look as new. That's always been my experience. Now the screws and cables were all bagged. So everything else was new and all there (unless a manual was supposed to come with it, but I downloaded the PDF, again no biggie)....but you kinda look at it and realize for $20 savings, it's a bit of a gamble. The product probably should have been sold as used on eBay for a bigger discount to be frank.I'm a huge fan of reusing computer parts. Far too much in landfills. However, you are taking a bit of a gamble when doing so. You don't know how something has been handled before.All that said, so far the motherboard seems fine. It's only been a day, but I expect it to be working just fine.

Received the motherboard with the wrong plate that covers the rear connectors, so I had to duct tape that. Also some of the motherboard pins were bent but I was able to straighten them. That's more of a used product with missing parts than a renewed product.
