Should have read the reviews ☹️
When it arrived, this device seems simple to use. Power cord, lock, USB card all included. I could not have been more disappointed. The quality of the scans was awful. The display looks as if you were only getting a portion of the picture, even when you’re replaying. It’s almost impossible to know what the final product is unless you eject the SD card and inserted into a PC for review. The tray device does not secure your photos in place at all. Even with a small bit of masking tape on the back of the photo to keep it from falling in the machine, I still lost a 1956 irreplaceable family photo. It is clear that many have had issues with this. You cannot simply open the device and take out the lost photo If you tried, it would just break the casing. It took two people, a flashlight, micro-tweezers, and countless tries for over an hour to get the photo back.

Easy to use for saving old photos
Works great converting both pictures and negatives. However, not designed to work with old 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” photos or the old negatives prior to 1990. One flaw is that if a photo falls inside it, there is no way to retrieve the photo without unscrewing the 4 screws on its feet.

Shadow/dark area showing on display
When I scan my photos, the display shows them with a dark square in the center, which is much clearer than the back ground.I am not sure if this is how they are saved on the disc, I am going to have to load them onto the picture frame and see how they look. I have about 5000 photos I want to scan and hope this is not the quality I get

Exactly what I was looking for
Nicely made. Sturdy and works great. What I like most is the negatives do not wiggle and you do not set the side holes. And it comes with a editing disc and a small memory card, everything you need to get started.

Buyer Beware
This little doodad is not that user friendly. Ok anybody who is using this must have old photos and negatives we want to get scanned, which means we are old. I have tried and tried to get one negative strip to stick in the negative older and I cannot do it. The hinge won't hold, the top and bottom of the "holder" fall apart, and the negatives will not "stick" on the tiny little holes they are supposed to stick on. I've tried duct tape to make it work and so far no luck. I'm only 60 but my hands are not very limber I am about to give up. OK so then I went to scan the actual photos and most of mine are just a hair wider than the 3.5 x 5" setting. So I tried just to slide the photo in but NO that will not work you have to slide that photo in while it is inserted into the photo holder. So I have been using scissors to cut off the edge. This is not turning out to be an easy project.I do not know if there is anything better out there. I know I saw a scanner at BestBuy it was $650. That isn't happening. I HAVE a printer/scanner that would be faster than this thing but I don't know how to shrink the photos. I've asked a couple of kids for help but they don't understand the concepts of photo prints or photo negatives at all and just stare at me.

Disappointed
After the third scan, a shadow of a camera was on the screen. I scanned several pics after and they all had the shadow on them. Then a yellow warning triangle came on the screen. I tried resetting by unplugging and start set up again. That didn’t do anything. Also, the instructions say to lower the slide, with picture in it, slowly. That is a must because it slipped and the picture fell out into the machine. I thought I was going to have to tear it apart to get my pic back.I am returning it and am very disappointed.

Just a twerk and it'd be great.
Worked great for the negatives and slides. The holder for the photos didn't do too well. Photos always seem to roll up a bit so the photo holder inserts well into the machine but now I had to stick a envelope opener into it to get the photo and holder to cone out. I have too many photos to keep doing this.So unfortunately I'm sending it back. It would work if the frames they use were 4 and they side back and forth to adjust to the photo and could hold the photo flat. The machine is light weight and would be great if that could be fixed. I also have people who have photos and do not want them to leave their house.Sooo fix the photo holder guys and it would all stars across the board. Thanks

very simple to use
picture quality is good, very easy to use

frame rails
easy to use as stated. the frame rails that hold photo needs to be lengthened. if the photo is curled in any manner, this prevents the photo from being removed without difficulty. otherwise ok

ClearClick Scanner photo vers numérique
Appareil facile à utiliser, bon résultat en général excepté pour les photos avec un fini glacé où il y a un reflet sur le résultat de la photo numérique.
