Perfect for dispensing honey, pours well and cuts the pour off neatly with no waste. Just like the honey dispensers we had when I as a kid! Very happy with my purchase.

I was searching for one of these for a while at my local Bed, Bath, and Beyond store, but for the longest time they didn't carry them. So I decided to purchase one from good ol' Amazon. The 14oz. dispenser is a large one, so it can hold quite a bit of honey or syrup. The top is sturdy and comes with a rubber washer / sealer so that nothing will spill or leak from the dispenser - and it works!The top lever that opens up can be opened a little or a lot, depending on how much you want to dispense. But this also controls the flow so that you don't over do it when serving yourself some waffle or pancake syrup. My wife and I like unscrew the top, put the glass container in the microwave and heat up the syrup prior to serving. Then we replace the lid and serve - this works very well!All around, we are happy with our purchase. Of course, shortly after purchasing this dispenser, the EXACT same one was then available at our local Bed and Bath for less - so keep an eye out!

UPDATE 2/33/16: Please note the [BRACKETED REVISIONS] below in my original review. With more usage time, I believe these more accurately reflect our experience. This (and perhaps any) dispenser will drip down the side more or less depending on how you handle it.This is our family's first restaurant style honey/syrup dispenser. Have had it as of this writing for about a month and so far works great and has ended [GREATLY REDUCED] our messy (drippy) dispensing problem. A few things I had read about in other reviews are absolutely true. Some reviewers said that their dispensers still dripped and gave low ratings. Well, other reviewers mentioned that there is technique involved when using it. When you're ready to dispense, tip the jar a little past 90 degrees from vertical BEFORE opening it. Then dispense the honey or syrup and RELEASE before tipping the jar back to vertical. You'll get a drip free experience 99% [MOST] of the time. Not perfect, but very acceptable [MUCH IMPROVED].The other thing to be aware of is that the internal seal in the lid must have a proper orientation to seal correctly. Just make sure to orient the flat side of the seal towards the glass container.Overall, I am very happy with this product.
