Same as OEM
These have the same heavy feel as the OEM filter so without cutting one open I would say the same amount of filter medium. I used these on my Big Dog zero turn with the Kawasaki engine. I change the oil annually so I don't have a lot of hours on the oil. These more than serve the purpose at a 1/4 of the price of OEM

Seems as good as OEM
I can't visibly see any difference from OEM. I'm a believer that it's more important to change oil more often with cheaper oil/filters vs longer with top quality. There's little difference in quality vs price based on shootouts online, thus changes are probably the better bet.
